Oh Mrcato, I will surely lift you up in prayer. I can so relate to your struggle. I know with the number of people on this forum that open up and share their most intimate struggles with us, there are also many, many more (like myself) not yet willing, afraid, or unable for many reasons to do this.

We are not judge, and sin is sin regardless of what it is. We are all struggling with something. I know my sin hinders my relationship with God, and I pray, as you do, for God to take it away. But like someone said, I think it was Foreverscout, until we are willing to let go of it, He cannot take it. Sounds like you're making that step now.

We will all be praying for you, and I know God is holding you close in the palm of His hand. He will never let you go. I don't have the wisdom of most on this forum, and can't ever seem to find eloquent and profound things to say, but I do know He is with us, will never leave us, holds us close, and if we keep our eyes on Him, He will see us through these struggles, even if it takes years!

We love you and thank you for trusting us - may God richly bless you, comfort you and carry you.

Love and prayers for all, Carol

MrCato,

I second the things Carol2 has said to you. I will be praying for you that God will show himself victorious in this situation and will save you to the uttermost, as he has promised he will do for those who trust him!

God is faithful!

Mrcato, I will also be praying for you. God IS Faithful--

Have you read Classic Christianity by Bob George? I think you would find it really reassuring and helpful. When we are in Christ, we have only one identity: His child. His is faithful to complete the work He begins in us.

Praying for you--

Mrcato, thank you for the trusting honesty that you have demonstrated in sharing with us your spiritual struggle. Be assured, you will be in my prayers.

Rather than focus on your particular temptations, focus on surrendering to Jesus all that, in the past, defined who you are. Ask Him to take away from you every "identity" you may have clung to in the past, and to make you content with only one identity - that of being a son of God, through Jesus Christ. He has saved you and He will keep you, even if in your weakness you fail 10,000 times. Don't stop trusting His power to change your life! In His own time and way, He will do it, and He will do it completely.

Feel free any time to email me at bobh@myself.com

Your brother in Christ,
Bob

Dear Mrcato, I certanily will keep your prayer concerns in my heart. And, just to let you kow-we each struggle with temptations and failings. Just know that your are cared about and that the blood of Jesus HAS (that's current tense) redemmed you.

I have a praise and prayer request to share with all of you.

Colleen and Richard know that for several years, I have been praying for Ladda, my brother's wife, who is Thai, and a Buddhist, to understand the Gospel and to come to Jesus. My brother became a Christian a few years ago. Ladda has never been willing to go to church with him. She has never known anything but Buddhism, and has not been able to understand Christianity. She thought her religion is good enough, and was fearful about going to a Christian service.

Over the past three or four years, she has been gravely ill with hepatitis. She had to undergo chemotherapy for three years, but she is finally recovering her health.

Today, my brother told me Ladda went to church with him this morning for the Easter service. She enjoyed it, and told him she will go with him again!

The Holy Spirit is working! Please pray that Ladda will give her life to Jesus!

Bob, that is exciting, isn't it. I have added Ladda to my prayer list that she will give her heart and life to Jesus. It is exciting to see the results of the Holy Spirit's work.
God is so awesome.

I learned today that the new physical therapist, who is a new graduate and graduated from LLU is an SDA. One would not know it by looking at her as she has earrings and a diamond engagement ring and makeup. She attends the Celebration church in Las Vegas where I used to attend. Her fiance is SDA also. Please pray for her and her fiance, that I will be the example God wants me to be for her, while she is here. She is to be working here about 3 months. Just call her PT. For some reason she has connected to me and comes to me for help when she needs it. I do not mind that.
Thanks for all your prayers.

Diana,

I'll be praying for your co-worker. She's got to be a good and reasonable person if she's a PT.(I'm one, too, if you didn't figure it out) :-)

I don't remember this section much..

Please remember C in your prayers regarding the spirit of fear. Also, On April 16th,
C has agreed to meet with Raven and Ric_B to hear their testimony. Pray for ears to hear and not the defensiveness.

Thanks!

We continue to pray for C. Also, please pray that Ric_B and I will be led by what the Holy Spirit wants us to say. I'm just a little nervous that Tracey is hoping for or expecting more out of this than we can deliver!

We do look forward to seeing you again, Tracey--we certainly enjoyed meeting you at our last visit!

Tracey,
I will be praying/continuing to pray for you and "C" as you meet with Raven and her husband.
Raven and Ric B, I will pray for you also, that the words you say will touch "C's" heart and God will convince and convict him.
Father in heaven, you know how much we care for Tracey and "C" and we know you love the both of them very much. Only you know how to convince and convict any person, so God do this for "C" when they meet with Raven and Ric-b. Give Raven and Ric the words you want them to say and let your love shine through them to "C".
You are awesome God.

To Ric, Raven, Tracy, and Diana, my prayers go out to you. I would like to request special prayer also for all who are posting on R/S, and for all those lurking, that we may have the right words to say, and to say things in the right spirit. I am starting to see progress, and I believe it is a worthwhile battle. Thanks, Stan
