Tisha,

Praying for you. Forgiveness is the key to breakthrough. You HAVE to forgive your mom and sister and even start praying for God to bless them with His grace and open their eyes. It's not so hard when you see them through His eyes.

I'm believing He will work it all out for your good!

DEar Tisha, I also am praying for you to be able to give up the desire to "get even" (my favorite definition of forgiveness) even if your relationship with your sister may never be unguarded. I'm also praying for God to protect you and to help the truth to be known.

Rejoice in the Lord; He is using this unbelievably hurtful situation to work out His will for His glory. He will glorify Himself through you, Tisha.

Thank you all so much for you prayers. Today seems a little brighter and some of the angst has left. I have known for many years that my sister and mother were not trust-worthy, so I am beating myself up for being suprised by this! In the past I have come to terms with it, at least I thought I did! So I guess I have more work to do. But I know that my Heavenly Father won't forsake me even if my earthly family does. And I am blessed by a wonderful husband, two dear children, and a great son-in law that have stood by my side through all this. All in all I guess that's pretty good!

I am working on the forgivness part though, so prayer is still in order!

Love to you all as part of my Christian family - tisha

Please pray that we find a location for a meeting on August 20th. A small group of formers in the Dayton, OH area have been working on starting a Bible study group. One of us was visiting with Greg Taylor and mentioned what we were doing. Greg offered to come here and speak and hopefully spark some additional interest. Greg used to pastor here, so many people know him. Unfortunately we are struggling to find a meeting location on such short notice. Please pray for this meeting, and also pray that we can quickly locate a meeting place.

Dear All,

I should like to ask you if you would pray about something for me. Some of you may know that I am doing Christian work in Hungary. I have a friend who nearly became an Adventist, and so, as a result of this, I wrote some articles on Adventism (in Hungarian) which ended up on the Internet. Rather long story. This was a few years ago, and the only letters I have ever received from the web site from Hungarians have been the usual vitriolic attacks and attempts to convince me that Adventism really is right ñ using the same old proof texts and illogical reasoning.

Anyway, today for the first time, I got a letter from someone looking for some help. He lives in the west of Hungary, near the Austrian border, which is not really near me. (The name of the place where he lives, interestingly enough, means ìSabbath town.î) He says he was Catholic, found Advent material on the Internet, found it really gripping, and so he now attends the local Christian Advent Fellowship (traditional Adventist breakaway from SDA). He likes the church, because they have more teaching and are more into outreach than the Catholics, but he says he does not like it when they go on about Ellen White. He cannot really accept her.

He has asked my advice about what to do, should he stay, return to RC, or look for something else. The problem is, the area he lives is very RC, and there are very few Evangelical churches in that part of Hungary. I donít know the area, and I donít know any churches there, so it is difficult to know where to send him. I can only say definitely not Adventist, and definitely not RC!

Sorry if that was long winded, and seems a bit tame, but this is the first time this has happened! So at least I think I can regard it as somewhat of a breakthrough.

Please pray that I will have the wisdom to be able to help him, and that he will find a good church in the area he can go to. Suggestions on what to say would also be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance, and God bless,
Adrian

Adrian,
I have put your friend on my prayer list. God has a church prepared for your friend. There may be twists and turns in the road getting there, but GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE. Just tell you friend to keep praying, to read his Bible and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit.
Our God is so awesome.

Adrian, of course I'll pray for Gabor and for you. God has already prepared you to deal with this man; your time with us, your own study--you know not only the theological issues but also the emotional ones. God will direct him to fellowship.

A two minute read.......

Read this story, and
follow the recommendation at
the end...

As I was walking
down life's highway
many years ago

I came upon a
sign that read

Heavens Grocery Store.

When I got a
little closer

the doors swung
open wide

And when I came
to myself

I was standing
inside.

I saw a host of
angels.

They were
standing everywhere

One handed me a
basket

and said "My
child shop with care."

Everything a
human needed

was in that
grocery store

And what you
could not carry

you could come
back for more

First I got some
Patience.

Love was in that
same row.
Further down was
Understanding,

you need that
everywhere you go.

I got a box or
two of Wisdom

and Faith a bag
or two.

And Charity of
course

I would need some
of that too.

I couldn't miss
the Holy Ghost

It was all over
the place.

And then some
Strength

and Courage to
help me run this race.

My basket was
getting full

but I remembered
I needed Grace,

And then I chose
Salvation for

Salvation was for
free

I tried to get
enough of that to do

for you and me.

Then I started to
the counter

to pay my grocery
bill,

For I thought I
had everything

to do the Masters
will.

As I went up the
aisle

I saw Prayer and
put that in,

For I knew when I
stepped outside

I would run into
sin.

Peace and Joy
were plentiful,

the last things
on the shelf.

Song and Praise
were hanging near

so I just helped
myself.

Then I said to
the angel

"Now how much do
I owe?"

He smiled and
said

"Just take them
everywhere you go."

Again I asked
"Really now,

How much do I
owe?"

"My child" he
said, "God paid your bill

a long long time
ago."

This may be in the wrong place by I simply had to share it with all of you. Love and peace to you all today!

Without going into much detail, I'd like to ask you for special prayer. My wife is pregnant with our second child and we found out today that there is a chance that there may be something wrong with the baby's development. We won't know more until she sees the doctor tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

Hi ALL!!

My prayer request is this:

Pray for my Mommy's SPEEDY recovery. She was diagnosed with breast cancer on Tuesday. However, I BELIEVE that the LORD will do WONDROUS works in her life!!!!!!!!!!

Pray for my Daddy's rehabilitation while in prison. He has been a lifelong crack addict and is incarcerated until April.

Pray for my mind as I endeavor to begin my studies again.

Pray for my best friend, (whom I love very much) as he journeys onward and studies his way out of the sda belief system. Also, pray for his family as they do not understand his reasonings, but respect his independent thinking.

Thank you for your support. I love you all and praise God for each of you!!!

HE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shontay, I am praying for your health and strength as well as the strength and healing of your parents. I agree with Colleen that your plate is full. Please come here for encouragement any time you feel overwhelmed.

I also want to ask you to pray for my brother, G. I've been telling him about my stand on EGW, and the misuse of her that has been a part of SDAism for so long, and he is finally listening. He asked me for the URLs to FAF and to R/S and Spectrum because he wants to know what we have been saying to SDAs directly. I hope he will sense the love that drives us, and for that purpose I ask for your prayers. The information is now in his hands, so it is up to God from now on.
