Just a note to let anyone who prayed for me, know that my neice's wedding went well and the scripture reading went well.

If anyone thinks of her please pray for her that my husband and I would be able to be a light for them and loving spiritual examples.
Thank you
Thomas

Just a huge thank you and PRAISE HIM for answered prayers for my sister. Those of you who have prayed for her over the last month have been appreciated more than you can know. When God's people collectively go to the throne for one of His children, wonderful things can happen! She had her surgery today on the tumor in her head. They were able to use the non invasive procedure and it worked to complete success! She was even able to go home the same day! Although she has a very bad headache, the medical staff told her she did better than expected.

God's answere to prayer can sometimes be so dramatic that you can't miss His hand! Thank You Jesus!! You brought her home, and she will be OK. No matter what, her faith was wonderful, and she had complete assurance that no matter what, She would be "going home". For someone raised SDA, that is a tremendous blessing and a blessed assurance! "His will be done" takes on a very different meaning when you have THIS blessed hope!

Again, Thank you to all who have shared this concern with me. Now you can share my Joy!

Praise God!!! He is so good. His ways are perfect and I just continue to be blown away by his awesomeness (I can't decide if I feel like crying or dancing around). The FAF group in Maryland had our first meeting tonight. Just three of us but what a wonderful blessing it was. I feel so strongly that God brought us together. The discussion was wonderful and Christ was honored. We will meet on the first Wed. night every month (perhaps more often in the future). We are going to pursue getting the word out about our group in hopes of reaching any "wounded sheep" that are searching. Thank you all for your prayers. We really do serve a mighty God!

God has provided a place for our FAF group to meet! Starting Mar.1 we will be meeting at the Shady Grove Presbyterian Church in Derwood Maryland. This is centrally located in Montgomery County. God is so awesome and so very faithful. Thanks to all who have been praying for our group. We could still use more. A couple people have inquired and we have an ad in next week's paper. People continue to call but most hang up. One fellow named Charlie called and left a message. Please pray for him and any others that may be lead to our group. I hope it's o.k. to post prayer requests in this section. I feel our answered prayer is wonderful and hope that we can really be an outreach, now that we have an official place to meet.

Please be encouraged Susan by the small numbers. I can remember when there were only 3 of us at our group and we thought it was possibly finished. I remember praying powerfully that nite when I felt embarassed that none of our regulars showed up and these were 3 NEW people! I prayed the entire meeting that these would be mightily strengthened by coming. The next day one girl called and said they all talked for two hours after the meeting about their struggle and how great it was! Anyway, some of the best times have been when only a few showed! Do not look at the numbers...they mean nothing! If God guides...he provides! You are blessed in our book and we are praying for your group!

Many thanks to Colleen,Jude,Sondra and all those who've been praying for us. Your kind words of encouragement mean so much! We are 4 strong but 2 people can't attend our March meeting, which will be the first time we meet in our new location. I've talked with a couple people about coming, but you have to actually have a group(at least 2-3) to invite them to. We just keep getting phone calls and people hang up. So I'm sure there's an interest out there. I know I have to trust God and His plan. He's been faithful all along. I just tend to get a bit excited and want to reach all the former SDA's in the whole state of Maryland!
My praises go up today for God's goodness in letting me find all of you. You've been such a blessing to me and I thank God for this forum and those who make it possible.
Your sister in Christ, Susan

Susan,

God is still blessing you. I can tell you this: If I lived in your area I would "break my neck" to attend every meeting.

Thank you for praying for us. The resignation letter is coming together slowly. My husband is now also ready to leave SDA and almost has assurance of his salvation. Wow!

I have been quite sick & was discouraged - even feeling suicidal. I praise God that I live by Truth - not feelings. Negative feelings pass quickly with assurance of God's love & salvation.

God bless you all for the love & caring you show on this website.

The bad news is: you won't hear from "Still SDA" (me) any more. The good news is: I'm now a former SDA. I'm ecstatic! Letter sent to Pastor, all Church Board members, Conf Secretary & ALL Conf Presidents - asking that they drop my name from membership. My reasons were stated; all letters for this area delivered yesterday. I assume there will be significant fallout. Already, the Lord is giving me opportunities to witness. Praise God! Now I'm going to collapse for a day or two. The stress has been unbelievable. May God richly bless all of you for your encouragement, support & prayers. Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for the prayers that you prayed for me. Between that and an excellent surgeon, all went better that I had ever anticipated. The last two times I had to deal with this, it was 5 or 6 days of pure pain. This time it lasted only a day!! :-) We are not out of the woods yet though, as the biopsy wont be in till late this week, so please keep that in mind in your prayers. Last week I was really rattled about this, but, this week I have this really strange peace about it.

Hi. This is my very first time ever hearing of and reading about people who, left the SDA church and formed a group?
I am SDA. It feels very strange to be here. What I have read here has been good in that you give credit to God and seem to have the Holy Spirit and want to praise Him and give Him credit...
I am deeply troubled about the E.G.White issue. I feel guilty even being here. This is all I have ever known and I am having a hard time believing that E.G. White could have been false? This is all very weird to me...I continue to search for the TRUTH, and I pray God will lead me to it. Thank you for listening.
