Thanks everyone who prayed for my wife Marti. Her cochlear implant surgery went perfectly well, and they were able to implant all the electrodes needed. Now, we will pray that it will work when they turn it on in 6 weeks, and that some of her hearing can be restored. Marti and I really were lifted up by all your prayers. She is really thrilled that I mentioned this request here. Thanks again. Stan | ||

Thanks for the prayers of those here. We had 8-10 meeting and studying God's word after church. After lunch at about 2:30 we got started and with 45-60 min for prayer at the end we did not finish until almost 6pm. It was a time of refreshing and a great spirit of oneness and unity before God. God truely does lead in the study of His word and we will continue to meet as often as possible. I think all of us had seen the video about the World Wide Church of God which I had heard about an gotten a copy at the FAF conference. richard rtruitt@mac.com | ||

Some time ago I asked that you would pray for Patti Lang, who lives in So. Calif. and had a brain tumor removed with good results until last month. I haven't heard much but she has had more tests and is back with the doc who did the original surg. waiting. I am surprised they take so long to take action with something like this. Please continue to pray. The waiting is hard but they have put their trust in the Lord. At one doctors office she heard of "The Healing Room" where people pray for healing has anyone heard of it? A prayer request for me. I thought that God wanted me to open my own business, but I have never had the time to develop it. Than last Friday, 10 Mar, I heard of a job, doing what I wanted to develop. I called the person, arranged for an interview on Monday, had the interview and thank God, they are impressed with me. When I asked what my competition was like, the lady told me there was no competition as no one had the experience I have had and the interest I have. I will, if I get the job, be an independent contractor, which is like being in business for myself. I will start out part time and still hold on to the job I have. Then as the work load increases, I will go full time. So, Please, pray for me and this job, if this is what God wants for me. It is coming at a good time and I thank God for that. Pray that I will make as much as I am making now, at least. Thanks for your prayers. Diana | ||

Thanks for all your prayers. When I know about the job, I will put it in the answers to prayer thread. I am writing about another prayer request. This is for Adventist friends on the East Coast, who did not abandon me or condemn me when I left Adventism. Just call them Dk & Jr. They are my age. They cannot find a good Adventist church to attend. They tried to start their own, but it did not work out. So they go to church sporadically. We used to talk about the legalism and unfriendliness it inspires, never about the doctrine. That was when I was a pseudo adventist. I know God is working on them. They do love God.
