Tomorrow at 2 pm central time is my first court date in regards to my 3-year old (custody). I hesitate to post more as the outcome is pending, but I would request prayers for protection of my son in this process and personally for physical strength to endure what has been an extremely emotionally exhausting and difficult time for me. I need to be able to eat and to put one foot in front of another to take care of my boys and endure the very real threat that his father is posing against me.

I would also ask that God provide his father with a different job, or at least a different location. Right now, we work together and sit about 50' apart. It is extremely difficult personally to cope given the things he has done to me most recently. I tend to walk around in a lot of fear, which isn't the most welcome emotion.

Thanks.

Melissa,
A prayer for you.
Father in heaven, you are the I AM and know the beginning and the end. You know what will happen tomorrow, so I ask you that you keep Melissa and her son in your arms and protect them. Keep them from all harm. Let the father get a job far away, but that is just my opinion. Give Melissa the strength to keep going. I want her to be able to keep her son, you know that. You know what is best. You are in charge of every thing. You are awesome God.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Melissa,

I will pray for peace and that the Lord will remain close to you and in you throughout. He can handle for us what we alone cannot handle. You are not alone.

Well, I won one point and lost one point. But the one I won was considerably more important than the one I lost.

There will be more as this is just the beginning. Thanks for praying.

Another prayer request for me. I said sometning on here about not providing well for myself, for retirement, when I was and SDA. Well, I am 65 now and I am very thankful, I can still work at a job that I like, I can still transfer patients, and I can still drive a 5 speed stick shift with good reflexes. The problem is, I really would like to retire with my house paid for and some money to travel to see my Grandson. I cannot do these things at this time if I stop working. God knows how I provided for myself and the business I wanted to open did not pan out. SOOO...I need lots of prayers, that God show me what He wants me to do or if He wants that He provide the money for me to retire.
I really would like to spend more time with my grandson.
I really appreciate all your prayers.
Our God is awesome.

Thanks, HW. It's only a temporary win and the more permanent battle is going to begin. Right now, I'm just really angry at everything he does. He is just trying to destroy my entire family. It's awful!

Greetings to you all, I have been praying for you all as I have been scrolling down the page.

This weekend I will be joining my family for the annual trek to see friends and family at the SDA Campmeeting in Hope,BC Canada. If any of you here are going to be there stop and say hello.

I am really looking forward to seeing the opportunities God is going to provide to me.

I am requesting your prayers as I will be sharing my experience with many dear friends.

There are a lot of sincere searching people in the Adventist church. Many I have talked to recognize there are major problems with the theology and structure, but are afraid to question and are really at a loss as to what to do.

I am also looking forward to some golf course ministry as well!!

Blessings to you all,

Randy

My assistant is having her surgery tomorrow morning (at 9:00 am) to removed the "mass". At this point, the doctors think it's probably benign, although they won't know until they are "in" there. An oncologist will be present during the surgery. The estimated surgery time is about 5-6 hours.

Please pray for wisdom and skill for the surgeons, peace for her and her family, a speedy recovery with manageable pain, and most importantly, that somehow through this experience she will see God's hand in her life, and discover her need for Him and come to know Jesus as her savior.

Thanks,
Grace

I sent my girls (10 and 16 y/o) to visit thier fahter in CA. He and his girlfriend are emotionally and verbally abusing them, to the point that the girlfriend brought up fathers sexually abusing daughters to my little girl. My ex has never abused my baby (or any of my 3 kids) that way, but it made Annie begin questioning about her big brother (age 19) and her daddy to Amy, her big sister. Amy assured her that there is a differeence. But it was completely innapprpriate for that concept to be placed in my daughter's mind. That was the worst. I won't go into all the details, but my baby is hiding ion the closet there. Amy is so angry and in pain...

It is so much worse than last year. My ex keeps defending this older woman.I had no idea that these two people would be like this, this year.

All my close freinds tell me to never send them back. I cannot help but agree. the woman is a shamman--witch wanna-be (I say that becaaue I used to be into that, in my youth; and she truly does not understand what she is playing with---like the 3-fold rule coming back on one.) She is very controlling, threatened and jealous of my girls, with no need to be.

they even cut off the phones, dissapeared, without telling where they wre going, leaving Amy with no way to call 911, if Annie had an asthma attack; which she has had 2x this year--needing the ER.

I have been a basket case for 2 weeks....no sleeep, can't eat.

My mother and I arranged and paid for the girls to come home earlier, but it feels like forever. My son is very upset for his sisters (he is Bi-polar).

My ex is taking his rage out on the girls, now....

I am so stressed, i cannot evern type correctly.

I pray that my kids will be delivered from evil and that God will work out that I may never send them back to them, unless their dad repents and comes back to God and leaves this woman (and finds a woman, who loves God, loves him and loves his 5 kids; not all 5 are mine, but I love my stepchildren, too).

Thanks, brothers and sisters. My prayers for all of your needs, too~
Cathy
