Nicole, I will pray re this.

My family is in Orlando area, so I am there fairly often as my father is sick. (I live in Altanta area). There is a lurker on this site :-), who lives in Orlando, and she is a great support to me when I am down there, just to grab coffee or visit her awesome church. Email me if you want the name of the church.

I pray for the Love of Jesus to just flow out of you, and for those little jabs to just bounce off of you! (The Lord God is a SUN and a SHIELD, the Lord will give grace and glory....) Psalm 84:11

Nicole, I will pray that God will show them himself through you this weekend.

All-
Just a request... we are having family over for a week, and involved in a wedding with other friends the weekend before... which means I need to get my house perfect, my menus pre-made and rest between as I can't seem to do as much with my health doing what it's been doing lately... and the family coming are all SDA and a bit irritated at us for not being SDA any more... they are missionaries for the church. Please pray we will be a light rather than a stumbling block. I'm dreading the week of their visit. It's a brother in law, his wife, their child, the wife's parents from another country I've never met and an auntie. A day visit would be one thing, but I have a very tough time keeping things perfectly put together for a weekend let alone a week with 3 kids, one being 3 years old. I just need prayer for peace and that I can get it all done before they get here.

My son and I are very emotionally worn down. I will try to get through this. He asked me if I had enough conviction in my religious belief that if we died that my spirit would for sure go be with Jesus. I told nim, 'no, my faith isn't that strong'. He wanted to know how come Christians just don't all kill themselves if they really believe they'll be with Jesus. I told him I've always wondered that, too. I got a jolt of encouragement from Diana after reading of the reconsilliation between her and her sister and the sisters family. My 20 year old son and me are stuck over 3,000 miles from home and my return ticket home isn't for several more months. My daughter-in-law will not let us over. She won't let me see my grandchildren and me and my 20 year old son came out here believing we were going to stay with her while my oldest son, her husband is on the submarine. I hate being homeless. Life is such a downer right now. I am so fortunate to have base access because I shower at the base gym and use the base library and the laundrymat at the base, etc. I hate sleeping in the car. I do not understand how come my oldest son and his wife can be so mean. I honestly, 100% believe that if I'm not available to babysit my grandchildren whenever the parents want me to and for as long as they want me to then they just don't want to bother with me. It's not about the grandparent/grandchild bond/love. It's only about being easially available and free. Me and my youngest son really need prayers right now. Please, if I wasn't so chicken I'd just kill myself and get myself out of this situtation but my faith isn't strong enough that I truly know without a doubt that I'd be with Jesus.

Hang in there Susan.

I'm praying for you and your children. I know others are too. And I know God loves you more than any or all of us know how to, and has you even now in His hands.

Susan,

You have my prayers as well! This is from Psalm 91:

He who dwells in the shelter of the
Most High
will rest in the shadow of the
Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, "He is my
refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

Please save Susan
from Satan's snares
and from the evil of this world.
Cover her with your feathers,
and under your wings may she find
refuge;
make your faithfulness her shield
and armor.

May Susan never know the evil of night
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the harm that stalks in the
darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at
midday.

Though temptations may arise
I pray that Susan will be drawn
to You and find her strength and salvation
in You.

May she never see the punishment
of the wicked, but instead know
life in abundance of peace and joy and rest
in You.

May she make You, the Most High, her
dwelling, and the Lord, who is her refuge,
so that no harm will come upon her, and
no disasters upon her life.

I pray that you would command your angels
concerning Susan
to guard her in all her ways;
that she will be lifted up to You in their hands,
so that she would not strike her foot
against a stone.

Touch Susan's heart to love you
Lord above all.
Please rescue her, protect her,
that she will call upon your name
and you will answer her.

Be with Susan in trouble
deliver and honor her
with long life satisfy her
and show her your salvation.

AMEN

Susan,
I sent you that mail today with a card for you to sign that you received it. General delivery will only keep it for 30 days, so get over to the post office ASAP.
You are in my prayers every morning, evening and in between. God will take care of you.

Dear Susan, I am also praying for you. God is faithful, and He is at work in you and in your family. He will not abandon you. He will never reveal ahead of time what His plans are for you, but when the "fullness of time" comes, He will reveal Himself as the power that is bringing about His will and His reconciliation in your life.

Diana, Out here the post office will only keep General Delivery for 10 days so I swing by and frequently check my mail. In two weeks I want to rent a mail box over at the United Parcil store. That should make things a bit easier for me. I'll get a three month rental. Colleen, after I do that I'll let you know the address so you can send the Proclamation! to that address. I got ahold of the special ed lady from the school. She looked on the computer and my grandchildren are not registured in any school in this state. They need that special ed very much so anyone out there with suggestions on who I can turn to to see to it that they get the help they need I would appriciate the info. They are 3 1/2 and still in diapers and cannot talk and the boy is very weak in his upper body and he was by parental request denied the physical therapy he so much needs. My entire group of relatives thinks the boy is having petit mall seziures and that the boy and the girl show symptoms of autism but it may be due to environmental neglect and not autism. I had so wanted to be at the home of this son while he is out at sea so I could make sure the children are getting the services they so much need. And, with cell phones the daughter-in-law could take off and go back to her native country and I'd never know the difference as my son who made me homeless will be out at sea until the end of December. I have an e-mail address now. I don't have any friends over here so I am looking forward to getting e-mails from my faf friends. It is: nikkyandalondra@yahoo.com Thank-you so much for your prayers.

Susan, is there a social worker at the school that could contact the parents? I'm not sure what else you could do unless there were some sort of social services if you think there is abuse. They should be obligated to investigate such a concern. I'm praying for you. I also know despair, but hang on each day because my kids need me, and your family needs you. Sometimes that's small consolation, but it's a hope.

Susan, the following website describes different types of child abuse and lets you know how to report it: http://helpguide.org/mental/child_abuse_physical_emotional_sexual_neglect.htm

It sounds like your grandchildren really need help. You need to report it.

I'm praying for you and your loved ones.

Jeremy, My grandchildren fall into the catagories of emotional and neglect. My daughter-in-law locks the backyard gate and all the doors and windows to the house, leaves the children their snacks out, takes sleeping pills and sleeps all day while the twins are left to raise themselves. It was my son, their father who is on the submarine now who told me that his wife does that. I call that neglect. No wonder she just puts a diaper on them in the mornings and that they cannot talk! I will pursue it further. Thank you Woolie for the prayer. Thanks to all of you.

The plot thickens daily. My son phoned my mother this morning at two as he is in Japan and told her I got into an accident with the car and somehow the cops tracked it to him and he is supposed to pay the damages for the accident. I don't understand how that can even be possible. When I got into that altercation with the car door I never mentioned my sons nane, nor have I mentioned to anyone over here his name except to his c.o. who told me he doesn't get involved in family issues. I do not and cannot figure out the intense hatred my son and his wife now apparently have for me. I babysat their children for hundreds of hours during the past three years and in fact those children lived with me for seven weeks before coming out here and there was no problem. I am the same person here that I was there. My belief is that if I am not available as a full-time unpaid servant then they don't want to bother with me at all, even to the point of making up lies to other people about me. Please, pray that their hearts will soften and that I will be allowed a relationship with the grandchildren. And, my son did not even provide me with a roundtrip ticket like he tells people he did. He got me a ticket to San Diego which is around 400 miles from where I live so I do not consider that a roundtrip ticket as once I get to San Diego I have to figure out how to get from there up north to my place. The whole situtation is crummy and oozes of decite but truly I wish most of all that I could be allowed to be with my grandchildren as they love me and I love them. Seems like my son and his wife have extreme hatred for me and I don't know how come. I just want reconnsilliation. Please pray. Thank-you.

Please, pray I don't get fired from my job. I expect to get told off by the boss lady but I don't want to get fired because I actually like my job, get along very well with everyone I work with and am an excellant employee-until today, that is. This morning I had on a thin pair of plastic sandles and a thorn went all the way through the bottom of my sandle into my heal. I couldn't walk at all on that heal and since I stand all day in one spot at work I knew I'd need some cushioning in my shoe on that heal. I actually tried four times to get ahold of the boss lady and was unseccussful each time. The first call I got a message that the # was no longer in service. The 2nd call I was supposed to be put through to an answering machine but after 10 rings I hung up. The 3rd call was only a line to put in numbers from a touchtone phone and I needed to leave a message. Finily on the 4th call I got a lady who said she'd give my boss the message. I have never been late or missed a day of work before this. But I only got the job 5 weeks ago and I need the job because I'm homeless and living in my car. Please, keep this in your prayers. Tomorrow is my regurally scheduled day off so I'll show up ready for work Saturday morning and please pray it all goes well. Thank-you as I have really been stressing about this.
