I am not sure if this is a prayer thanks or a prayer request so I'll post here. I think it's both. About two hours ago I ran into my dil and my little grandchildren at the store. I could see that as soon as she noticed me and my other son she looked away but I was bold, parked the car and went up to her and the children. As always, they were dressed up and had their hair done like they are ready for a photo shoot. My din was not friendly, nor was she unfriendly. She asked me why I'm not at work and I told her it is my day off. I waited to be invited over but it didn't happen. I bent down to chat with the children and the kids seemed so out of touch with their environment. I asked if the kids are in the preschool yet and she said the school people need to do some more assessments and the kids will be in the special ed preschool during the third week of September. I told the kids I still am hoping I can take them to the zoo before I leave Hawaii but the kids had no clue what I was talking about so I said good-by and we went our seperate ways. Please, pray that our breif encounter will show my dil that I really do care and that I honestly want a relationship with them. I don't know if they've disowned me because they haven't said that but it sure seems like it. And, please pray my little grandchildren get the help they need. Thank-you.

Dear Friends, Everything in my life right now excepting my two youngest children is bad. All my life I have tried to always do the right thing in whatever situtation I was in and right now it seems like whatever I do to everyone i am very close with in my family excepting my two youngest children is bad, wrong and I think everyone in my family except my two youngest sons resent me and hate me. today for the first time during this ordeal I cried. I can't be two places at once. I can only be here and apparently my house in ca. needs a lot of work done on it and the crews can't start the work until after I move all the furniture, etc. into the garage. I can't do that when I'm here. Except for the two youngest sons whatever close relative I speek to I get told off. I am so weary and I am forlorine. It seems like no matter what I do I am being told I should be doing something else. But, doing something else is impossible because I'm 3000 miles from there and that's just the way it is. I am so sad.

Susan
It's been a while since I've been here. I just read what has been happening in your life. I am so very sorry for your troubles. I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Diana has a favourite saying "God is awesome".
I know from past experiences in my own life that this is very true. So, I will pray that He will hold you and keep you and yours, and get you past this difficult time. Be strong, trust Him.
Blessings

Susan, I can't relate to your specific grief, but I know loss and heartache first hand. I will continue to pray for you. It seems somewhat 'empty' sometimes to hear that, but there is nothing else I know to do for you. I hope God makes a way for you to have some peace.

Thanks so much to each of you. Diana, I will call when I think it is a good time for you because there is such a time difference that it is real late at night where you are when it's still early here. Well, running into my little grandchildren several days ago was just too much for me. The dear little boy seemed so confused and almost frightened of me. The little girl was happy to see me but she backed away after seeing her brothers reaction. So, I called my son, their father and left him a voicemail message that I will not be contacting him or his wife anymore. I just don't think it's right for me to add to those little childrens misery. Someone has to act like an adult and put those children first and since it doesn't seem like it will be their mother then I'd better be the one. Those children have too many problems already that they sure don't need to be confused about me. I told my son whenever he wants to resume the relationship all he needs to do is get ahold of me. I told him if that doesn't happen for a long time then my prayer will be that when his children are old enough to get ahold of me on their own that they do it. I need to back away. However, this does not negate my need for mucho prayers about the situtation. Thanks, once again.

I 'bought' a car from a lady who had an ad on a bulletin board to sell her car. Today I went to get the title transferred into my name and the county agency won't let me transfer the title because the title is in the husbands name and the wife signed the form. I kept telling the lady at the city hall that the husband is in the navy and is out to sea and the wife got transferred to North Caralina and that is why they wanted to sell the car because they are navy and had to leave Hawaii. I told the lady those people were not friends or family but I met them from an ad on a bulletin board. I kept asking the lady whose job it is to transfer thtles what I'm supposed to do and all she did was had me back the title and said, "I don't know". Aaaaaaaaugh! Does anyone have anmy idea what to do? One man I was snivveling to told me to go to navy legal since the sellers are in the navy and maybe I can get it strightened out that way. Any other suggestions? Why does EVERYTHING have to be such a big hassle!?

A while back I told you all about our pastor's wife and her battle with cancer. She went to be with the Lord this morning. Please pray for her family and our church family. They have 13 year old twin girls and 3 grown children.
Thank you,
Leigh

Thank you so much for your prayers. The wonderful hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness" has been my song this week, and these verses from Lamentations chapter 3 my prayer for the family and church family:

22 Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 "The Lord is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore I hope in Him!"

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

It has been a real joy to me to know that people go to be with the Lord instead of just dying.
God is more awesome every day.
