Greetings to Diana and others online who I know have been praying for me and my daughter.

Annie has been "clean" for a number of months now and there is a spring in her step and a smile on her face.

She has entered the JobCorp down in San Diego, CA, where she is training for a job and future employment. While she is not yet coming to church and still has many questions, she is comfortable being around my friends and has gone with me to gatherings with groups of friends (because she knows they love her and even knows they are praying for her) in the evening where the purpose was intercession and coming before God in prayer.

A couple weeks ago she allowed us to put her in the middle and lift her up in prayer and ask God's blessing on her. I was in tears as we prayed for her. She resists surrendering but God has been doing marvelous things in her life.

Just this weekend as she was visiting me she said Dad I don't understand it but I can't get angry anymore. Things are so much better. Please keep the two of us in your prayers.

In Christ,

Richard

Richard,
Thanks for the praise report! Your faithfulness in prayer for your daughter, despite grim outlook at times, has been a witness to me. Annie continues in my prayers, but Im asking God to remind me even more to pray for her. You remain in my prayers as well.

I have been impressed by the Lord today to ask you all to pray for a former SDA friend who is deeply involved in paganism. I pray that the Lord will open her eyes to dangerous ground she is on and that the Lord will reveal himself to her.Thank you! Leigh

Leigh, I will pray about that friend of yours. I also have a prayer request. As you all by now know I have been homeless living out of my car for several months now. (I have decided I just can't take this life anymore and I've decided to pay the additional mucho bucks and change my ticket and go back to Ca. in several weeks. But, that is not my prayer request.) This is: Where I park the car to sleep at night about one block away is a very busy intersection. A very poor homeless man stands at that corner each day and each night. He never says anything. He just stands there with a paper cup out hoping for donations. My son went over to talk with him several days ago and he asked my son if he was homeless. My son said 'yes' and this very poor man offered my son a dollar. By the grace of God, my son told the man, "No, you keep it. I'm sure you need it more than I do." This man has dirty bandages covering his oozing legs. He looks to be in very poor health. Before I leave to Ca. I will pass on to this man some blessings I habe recieved. In the meantime, I do not know his name. God knows who he is. Please, let's ask the Lord to send relief to this man. I don't know his story. God does. Also, while I'm on the subject: In the parking lot where I park the car at night is a fastfood restruant. Across the parking lot at the other end is a church. The church has a daycare center. The daycare center has a playground with several playhouses in the yard. Each night when the fastfood joint closes up I watch a young man, he looks around 17 years old, put his backpack on his shoulders, walk across the parking lot to the daycare center and go into the playhouse. Then around five the next morning I see the young man leave the playhouse. I am thankful for him that he has a job but obiviousely it's not the best of living conditions to have to sleep every night in a playhouse at a daycare center. Again, I don't know any more about this young man than I've written here but God does so please keep those two in your prayers as I watch them from my car every day and every night. God knows their special needs, I know that.

Father in Heaven, You are the I AM and know the end from the beginning. You know how many hairs are on our head. So, God I am asking that you take care of these homeless people, Susan and her son, the old man and the young man who sleeps at the day care center play house. You know each of their needs and how best to care for them. Be with Susan and her son as they make plans to return to California. May your name be honored and glorified in all that is done.
Thank you God for answering this prayer. As always Lord, you are awesome.

Yes, One thing this experience has opened my eyes to is a lot of unseen people. They are everywhere. At this same parking lot at the far end near the fastfood restruant is a small building. I think it's an electrical building, you know, where the circuts are located. Anyway, behind the little building is a disheaveled lady who lives there. She doesn't let herself be seen too often. She is back there with some bedding and all her belongings in a shopping cart. I peek around the building every once in awhile to see if she is still there. She is. I'm not sure if she sits there crochqueing or knitting or if she is just fumbling with cloth but she's always holding cloth and moving it around in her hands. She seems very very extremely fearful of people and the last thing I'd want to do is scare her anymore than she seems to already be so I leave her alone. In this same parking lot every night are close to a dozem people/families who park there who obiviousely don't have a dwelling to go to. I assume they don't have a dwelling because it's always the same people. About the time to go to work they start up their cars and leave, then come park again in the same lot around 10 at night. Living like this I notice things and people I would never have noticed before. It sure has been an eye-opening experience. Maybe when I get back to Ca. if the Lord leads me to it I can get involved with some sort of homeless outreach program in my area. Let's pray and ask God if that is something He has in mind of leading me to get involved with. Diana, I always appriciate your prayers so much. I think you have a special direct line to heaven, at least it seems that way.

Nicole,
Here is a prayer for you and your family.
Father in Heaven, You are the almighty God and know the end and the beginning. Be with Nicole and her family at this time. Her husband does not know you God, but you know him and you know what he wants and needs. Be with Nicole and the children as they go through these times. Hold them in your awesome arms.
Thank you for answering these prayers God. You are always awesome.
Diana
