Leigh, I am praying for your friend, and for all those who are caught in the web of darkness.

I also have a prayer of thanksgiving. I have just yesterday returned from a five-day trip to the cancer clinic. Yesterday morning I had a meeting with my oncologist. I had good results from my tests. She says 'they' don't understand why, but my cancer (advanced ovarian) seems to be
halted and has been for the past 6 months. She warned me that things can change quickly and at any time, but for now....
I still have it. I feel its effects. But it is not getting worse. I am thankful for that. I am also thankful for all the people, here on the forum and elsewhere, who have prayed for me. I am aware that those prayers helped as well as the treatments. Knowing that people were lifting me in prayer gave me a lot of strength during and after the treatments.
Thank you Father, for all things.

Blessings

Dear Heavely Father,

I lift up to you Susan-2, her entire family, all the homeless people she has witnessed in her location, and her desire to know Your will concerning starting a ministry to homless people. May Your Holy Spirit permeate all the hearts and circumstances involved with Susan_2, may You use her to establish Your kindgom on this earth, and may You use her as a conduit to shed Your light to all the people she meets and about whom she cares.

I lift up to you Nicole, her husband, and their three young children. Please impart Your strength, Your faith, and Your life to each of them. I ask you to bless this entire family with spiritual unity in the faith of Jesus Christ, and bless them all with spiritual vision to see that You are empowering them to endure the difficult times, so that they will be made more beautiful by the polishing and refining process.

Lord, I lift up to You Leigh's former SDA friend who's involved in paganism. Lord, You are the all-powerful, all-knowing One who controls everything and everyone in the universe. I pray You will turn this woman's heart to You, bringing her forth out of darkness into Your marvellous light, and arising on her body, soul, and spirit as the Son of Righteousness with healing in Your wings.

All these thoughts and desires I lay at Your feet, declaring that I wish not my will to be done, but Your will to be done. I trust that You will accomplish Your highest purposes in these lives and circumstances, according to Your supreme goodness.

In Jesus' name,

Honestwitness

Great news Toria, I will continue to pray.

Nicole, I am praying.

Praying for the rest of you who have posted requests recently, and for unspoken requests...and also for you, Colleen, and Richard, in your transition.

Psalms 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the LIFTER OF MY HEAD.

Psalms 107:20 He sends forth HIS WORD and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.

Let a man set his heart only on doing the will of God and he is instantly free. No one can hinder him. -- A. W. Tozer

Colleen,
thank you for your prayers. Our pastor and his family , as he has said " are rejoicing that she is with her savior," but they are also heartbroken beyond words.

The funeral last week was truly a celebration of her life in Christ. There was tremendous sadness but also tremendous joy and hope. We sang some of her favorite songs as her children led out on the worship team. One of my favorites that we sang is O Wondrous Love. I'll post the words on the "Songs of Grace" thread.

Dear Friends, I have another prayer request. We are starting another series at our church this weekend.

The last series was on the New Covenant and this new series will be on Soul Sleep. I expect the series will meet every other week for several months.

Please keep each person attending in your prayers that the Spirit of God might go deep to root out any false doctrine and replace it with the simple Word of God as found in Scripture alone and no outside sources.

In Him,

Richard

A group of us met this past weekend and had lunch and then went into a time of prayer for each other and for the two different Churchs that meet in our building. There are two churches meeting in our building and a number of us are attending both churches. (in fact active in both churches) We also spent time praying for the coming meetings on Soul Sleep.

We specifically prayed for the meetings that are starting this weekend. Many signs of a spiritual battle in the "heavenlies" are evident, yet through it all there is God's promise that He will direct and cover His people with His Spirit and protection.

We brough all the notebooks/binders into the house and prayed over them. We prayed that each person would be blessed by the material in them as they studied God's Word and the Holy Spirit worked in their heart.

In Christ,

Richard

Please, pray for my youngest son. He is 20. Life is very hard for him. He just wants to be dead so bad. I can't figure it out but all his life he has been picked on. He takes two showers per day. He is extremely clean. Yet, my oldest son, the one who kicked us out and made us homeless had the gall to tell the youngest one recently that he's dirty. He's not. For some reason people pick on him and say things to him and about him that aren't true. My oldest son has also been telling people that the youngest son is a wanted criminal. that is not true either. The youngest has had several minor mistomeiner runins with the authorities, none ever involving another person. they have been for drunk in public. No victum. He has never had a felony. He just wants to no longer exist anymore. People pick on him. For instance, just several days ago he was sleeping in the park while I went for a walk. He was approiatelly dressed, was sound asleep right next to the car, was making no disturbance at all. Three different people called the police to say there was a suspicious man sleeping in the park. My goodness! I thought that's why people went to parks. He just wants to no longer be. I have cried and cried over this. I am going to go back to Ca. in two weeks. In my heart I just have a big gloom over me that when I say 'good-by' to him at the airport it will be the last time I ever seem him alive.
