Diana,
Thanks for your prayers. It is true that we do not fight against "flesh and blood" but against "principalities and powers". Satan would like nothing better than to divert our attention from HIM (Christ Jesus) to personalities and human understanding.

Diana, on a side note, Annie seems to be doing much better. Of coarse things with Annie are always relative to the week before.

She rode with me up to my parents for Thanksgiving and I didn't turn the radio on so for 6-7 hours each way we had nothing better to do than talk to each other. Yes there was a purposefull method to my madness of keeping the radio off. :-)

I quietly listened to her as she shared some very strange "varients" of her spiritual beliefs but it was wonderful sharing with her my continued faith and her quiet listening. As she comes out of the drug induced "fog" she is searching and I know the best thing I can do is pray and listen and quietly witness and share with her again. Keep her in your prayers.

Well enough typeing for now. I better leave school and finish my report cards for tomorrow at home.

In Him,

Richard

Hello everyone, I have another prayer request regarding my wife. She had a PET scan last week. We got the results today and the doctor says its 95% probable for cancer of the lung. At this point there appear to be two areas affected. This is surpising since she is in none of the risk groups that would make lung cancer likely.

She goes to a surgeon on the 21st. At that time they will scedule a biopsy.

Please pray for her. This is a tough thing to hear and eventhough she trusts that the Lord's will be done, it is hard to get your mind and emotions around something like this.

Thank you all.

Insearchof,
A prayer for you and your wife: Father in Heaven, You are the I AM and you are the Great Physician. You love us so much Your Son, Jesus, came to this earth to redeem us. So Father, I am praying that you hold ISO and his wife in your hands as they go through this time. May your name be glorified in all that happens. I would like very much that you heal his wife. All I want is that you are honored and glorified in all that happens.
You are so awesome God.

ISO,
You came to the right place for prayer. I have seen mountains moved and amazing healing when people on this forum come together to pray.

I am already praying for you and your wife. Diana, I agree with you in your prayer, and I know others will join us. Father God, we ASK you for healing. We ASK for your soothing presence. Jesus, we ASK in your name, for all the things You have promised. Thank you.

PS. There are two others who post on this forum who are facing cancer in the family. One with a mother with cancer. The other with a father. We can remember them as well in prayer.

Insearchof, I've been wondering about the outcome of your wife's tests. I am so sorry.

I will be praying for her and also for you.

Dear Father, I pray that you will be very close to ISO and his wife. Please keep their hearts resting in you, and if it is your will, I pray that the biopsy will be negative. Please sustain her and grant her healing and strength, and please glorify Yourself in all this.

I pray for the others here whose parents have cancer as well. I pray that they will all know you and that you will bless them with strength and health and the peace of Jesus. Amen.

I appreciate your prayers and concern. Knowing that others are praying for us is a comfort and a blessing.

We cling to the knowledge that somehow, God means this for good.

In His name,

Friends,

Today my wife is having a lung biopsy in an effort to know exactly what we are dealing with. You don't know how much I appreciate your prayers and thoughts during this time.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Hello everybody!

I've a prayer request for the Spanish ministry I'm currently working on, my Spanish still is a bit shaky so I can't do the main translating work, please pray that God will provide and that he will be glorified tremendously through this ministry.

For you who prayed for my Aunt, thank you. She passed on Christmas morning 1 in the morning. I am now praying that Uncle Jack will meet someone, maybe on his plane trip to Hawaii, maybe a seat mate, that sits with him in grief, someone who has God's Spirit, someone who will be able to engage him when he starts off on his favorite "If there's a caring God, why are thousands of children starving and suffering all over the world". That's the deal, my Uncle and Aunt always believed in a God, just not a personal God that cared anything at all about his children, and did not believe in requesting anything in prayer. He had lost his brother and sister in their early 30ies to cancer, and she her brother in a logging accident, and they both developed a belief that God is not a caring God. So if you would like to pray for him, I would much appreciate it. They were both raised SDA, he a very liberal SDA and she a very strict SDA. Also, please pray for the extended family, either SDA or non-Christian. Thank you for your prayers.

Love,
Lisa

Lisa, A prayer for you and your family.
Father in Heaven, You are the I AM, the Alpha and Omega, yet we can come to you and call you Father. Thank you for this and thank you for Jesus who made all this possible. I ask that you come close to Lisa and all her family members. Lead them to you, as only you know what is best for each individual. Be with her uncle as he travels to Hawaii. Hold each person in your awesome arms and may each know that you are comforting them and that you love them. Thank you God for bringing each person to you. You are always awesome.
Diana
