To my friends here, please keep me and our group at my church in your prayers.

We have been meeting for many months at the church in a study of the New Covenants, Sabbath, the spirit of man and the "state of the dead".

One member said, "There is too much cacophony in the spirit world there and permission for falsehood to remain [in the church]. Much of what needs to be said cannot be said there and much of what needs to happen cannot happen there."

It has been decided to stop meeting at the church and to enter a time of prayer to seek God's will and direction for the studies and His will for the group that has been meeting. Alternate meeting places and directions for our study are being prayed about.

Division is not sought but unity with the will and spirit of God are our goal. Unity with the Lord is more important than unity with any man made organization.

In His hands,

Richard

Richard,
It sounds to me that God is working on people and they are responding. What a beautiful sight that is. It must make your heart sing. I will continue to pray for you and the group with which you study.
Father in Heaven, You are the Alpha and Omega, the God of the universe, yet we can come to you and call you Father. Because of Jesus we are able to do that. So, thank you for Jesus who made salvation possible. Father, I bring this group that Richard is studying with to you in prayer. I ask that each person come to know you and that the group unite in You. Thank you for answering this prayer right now.
You are awesome beyond belief, God.

Oh, I am behind....

ISO, I came to check for an update re your wife. I continue to pray for you.

Shontay, so good to see you. God brings you to my mind often to pray for you. We are still waiting for you to come visit us in Atlanta!

Praying for your requests, Bobj, Kim, Toria, MWh, Jeremy, Susan2. Praying for unspoken requests as well.

Richard, I keep you, Annie, and your SDA church group in my prayers. Good stuff!

Bmorgan/Erma :-) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :-) You are an angel!

And hugs back Diana---You sent a cyber hug, much appreciated, and I could never find the thread when I checked back. After your scare with the cop, you probably need one! We should start praying for him, that he experiences even more grace than he dishes out..the fullness of Grace.

It's a good thing I checked in here this morning.

Lori and Colleen, thank you kindly for sending me sweet birthday greetings. Turning 53 is great especially because the Lord is merciful to me and has kept away aches and pains who may cause me to feel "old"

Wishful thinking, but I'd like the Lord to take away my ability to procreate and let me have my 30-40 years old body back, neither curves nor cellulites. Oh well!

For all He has done, and going to do in my life to know Him better, I burst forth endless praise to Him.

You'd never know how deeply your few simple words touched and warmed my heart and soul.

Colleen, I praying that Richard feels completely better, soon.

God bless you all guys, especially the ones celebrating birthdays in January ;~).

Thanks for praying.

InSearchOf, how's your wife doing? What has been the outcome of the tests?

Richard is home with antibiotics and minus quite a bit of blood for tests. They're not sure exactly what's going on, but this evening his fever hasn't spiked high so far. Praise God!

Praying...

To all,

I have not been around in a while. Sorry for not updating sooner than this regarding my wife.

My wife went in for a biopsy and it went way wrong. She ended up in ICU for eight days, but is home and recovering now.

The tests came back as negative for cancer (Thank God!), but they have no idea what the mass on her lung is. They are afraid to treat it because they don't know what it is and they fear doing the wrong thing. I can appreciate that, I just wish that someone could tell us what it is we are dealing with!

We go for a second opinion in two weeks. At some point I feel sure there will need to be another biopsy procedure. As you can imagine, we are not excited about that possibility.

We continue to pray that God's will be done. We thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers on my wife's behalf.

Jeremy, we will pray for your dad...I see that Richard is ill as well. He is also in our prayers.

ISO,
You continue to be in my prayers.
God, be especially close to ISO and his wife right now. You know what is on her lung. Put your hand on her and heal her. You know what she has been through and it has not been good. Hold her and ISO close that they will be secure in you and your love.
As always God, You are awesome.

Richard is better today; fever seems to have broken. The doc called this AM and said the tests (besides the cultures which take longer) show evidence of a systemic viral infection which has attacked several organs. Tests show that lungs and liver are inflamed, and various pains indicate other organs are also. She said that if everything is not resolved when they repeat the tests in two weeks, she'll begin testing for other liver problems beginning with hepatitis. He has no risk factors for any of the forms of hepatitis, so we're praying he'll fully recover. He's better but pretty exhausted.

Thank you all for praying. It is a privilege to pray for each other.

Thank you so much for your prayers, everyone.

My dad was moved to a hospital down in Phoenix on Monday, and they did a biopsy on a possible tumor in the right lung. Today we got some biopsy results, and it is not cancer! PRAISE GOD!!!! They still don't know what the mass is--but it sounds like it could just be dead tissue caused by the blood clots.

He is being kept in the hospital until they can figure out the correct dosage for the blood thinner that he is on for the blood clots.

Things got pretty rough this week, as in the middle of all of this, my mom went to the hospital by ambulance, as she made a mistake with her insulin (she took the wrong one). She actually probably didn't need to go, but poison control, 911, and the ER Dr. all told her to.

Your continued prayers for me and my family are much appreciated, as there have been constant spiritual attacks/spiritual warfare ever since I started putting together my website--which have hindered the process.
