Thanks for your prayers, everyone.

My aunt passed on this afternoon. They said that even with dialysis they didn't think she would live much longer. We do think that she was saved, and is now with Jesus and also her brother who used to live with and help her whom she missed so much (the uncle of mine that was killed suddenly while riding his bike less than two years ago).

Ever since I heard yesterday morning's news, God has filled me with peace, calmness, and comfort. And normally, I would not be that way. I just want to praise Him for that.

Please continue to pray for her whole family, including my dad (her brother), and her unsaved relatives.

Thanks so much.

Jeremy, thank God for His peace in your heart. I'll continue to pray for you and your family. I'm sorry for the trauma in your family right now. It's shocking to lose a loved one, even when you expect it will happen. He is faithful.

I have just prayed for you Berit and your baby and family. Jeremy I prayed for you and your family. Dale I also remembered this SDA minister that he be held up by God and that the conference do the right thing for him.
Please pray for me as I am driving home from Riverside to Las Vegas, a 4 hour drive this morning. I thank God I enjoy driving long distances and that I am a careful driver. God is so awesome in all He does.

Dear Berit,

God does hear your prayer - and delights in your bringing your needs to Him. Please don't think your heavenly Father has stopped listening and loving you and caring about your needs! He hasn't! He loves you!

You sound so frustrated, tired and discouraged. I wish I could be there to give you a hug and help you get some rest and time away. I'm praying for you! I don't know why it appears that God is allowing this and don't have any answers, but Berit lean on Jesus with all your might! He will not let you fall. Psalm 121 and 61, 62, 63, 27, 42, 40 have helped me in times like this. How I pray that God will be near to your baby and give her the gift of sleep and you the rest you need. Being a new mommy is wonderful, but also very stressful. I pray God will provide for your every need. (((hug)))

Your sister in Jesus,

Dear Grace,

I'm praying for you and your mom that God will hold you tightly and that the Holy Spirit will be so at work that everyone around her will know she belongs to Jesus. May the Lord show her clearly that He is in control. I ask Father for her complete healing according to your will and look forward to hearing how you worked.

Dale,

I'm praying for the pastor! May His heavenly Father strengthen him and give him a supernatural peace and joy that the world cannot give. May he follow Jesus boldly into the unknown to see how God will use him next.

May God supernaturally meet his family's every need as they take a stand for truth.

May the God of grace give him sure confirmation that he is following truth and doing the right thing.

Pastor, if you're reading this be strong and courageous for the Lord your God is with you withersoever thou goest. You'll never know (until heaven)how many are praying for you right now.

Thank you all for your prayers, kind words and counsels! You have encourraged me to read the Psalms and think positive.

The last two days have been better, praise God! When my first baby was born it was even worse and I guess that makes the time now harder than what it actually is. Having crying babies and unanswered prayers has been the most discourraging thing in my christian experience.

You have encourraged me to not give up, please continue to pray for me/us! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Thank you again, everyone, for the prayers. Just an update: my mom had surgery to remove the cancerous portion of the colon yesterday. She is recovering very well. We are waiting on the pathology reports (they will be back on Monday) to see whether the cancer has metastasized or not. The surgeon said everything looked good to him and it looked like the cancer had been pretty confined to that one location. So if it has begun to spread, it's only at a microscopic level (which is good!).

God has been so good to me on this trip (I'm out of town to be with them), and has been so good to my parents throughout this whole ordeal. Their hearts are beginning to soften in miraculous ways. I am so thankful for what He has been doing in our lives!

Thanks again for praying!

Grace

Grace;
Thank you for the update. Prasing God that things are looking good with your mom's health and that He is touching the hearts of your parents. He is so faithful.

Berit;
You and your family, especially your little ones, have been and continue to be in my prayers.
Happy to hear that things have been a little easier the past few days. I pray that they continue so.

Blessings,
Toria

Praise report--the official pathology report for my mom came back, and the lymph nodes were all clean, and the tumor actually had penetrated into the muscular wall (the last wall), but didn't go through. So, the official diagnosis is stage 1, which means no further treatment is necessary at this time! Praise God!

She is actually recovering really well. She is home now, and doing better each day.

This whole experience has changed my mom and dad in a significant way. God's presence and providential care has been evident throughout this whole time, touching them in a new way. I'm most grateful for that miracle...God is good!

Thanks everyone for praying. I'm continuing to pray for their hearts...

Grace

Dear friends,

This morning I am coming to you with two prayer requests.

1) Yesterday while walking to church, my 94 year old grandmother fell and broke her hip. She is a feisty one and has been very independent. She is supposed to have surgery today. I ask for your prayers that the Lord guide the hands or the surgeon and that complications be minimal.

2) While I was visiting her yesterday, Her SDA Pastor, also a friend of mine, shared that a good friend had just been admitted with after a couple weeks of pain symptoms, and preliminary indications were an invasive cancer. This lady and her family needs our prayers. Pastor Jim appreciated that I might look in on her and pray with her. This comes all out of the blue to a 50 y/o who up until 2 weeks ago was symptom free. I ask for your prayers for this sister in Christ as well.

Dear friends,

Grandma came through her surgery with flying colors. At noon today when I stopped at the hospital, she was sitting in a wheelchair in the sunroom enjoying a bowl of raspberries. Still a little ticked off that she fell. Thank-you for yours prayers on her behalf.

My friend Aniko was sadly given a diagnosis of advanced pancreatic cancer. Please keep her and her family in your prayers, as the situation continues to be assessed.
