I'm posting this for another forum member who needs to remain unnamed because of Adventist friends and family who could identify him/her if they read this:

“Please pray for a former Adventist family that is currently going through a crisis in their lives. Because they have left Adventism, there is a tendency for them to be judged by their extended family, as being punished by God for this. Pray that they will have patience and strength to endure this trial.”

Father God;
You know who this family is and what their needs are. I lift them to you and pray that the problems they are experiencing will work out for their good and Your glory. Surround them with Your love and protection and bring them safely through this crisis. Father please give them the patience and strength they will need to endure. In Jesus precious name I pray.

A prayer for the former SDA family: Father in Heaven, I come to you because You tell us to pray. You are the I Am and I am so thankful for that. I bring this former SDA family that has left adventism and is following Jesus. Surround them with your love and supply all their needs-spiritual, emotional, and physical. May all things bring glory and honor to your name.
You are always awesome.

Praying Colleen.

An update on my BIL,he is able to move, still in ICU but able to talk.

Prayer changes things, to tell the truth I thought he would not make it. Thank you for the prayer of faith.

It seems like my faith lags at the most inopportune times and I am so thankful for other praying Christians who can take up the banner where I lack.

Oh me too!! It is so wonderful to be part of the body of Christ, and to know that I can rest in Jesus arms when I'm too tired and discouraged to do anything else both because God Himself loves and cares for me and because I have brothers and sisters who continue to pray around the world.

My wife is going in for a biopsy on a spot on one of her breasts tomorrow. 80% chance that it NOT something serious but the 20% is still worrying us. Plus the procedure itself sounds real creepy to me. I know thinking about it is making her very tense. Prayers around 8-11am on the 23rd, California time would help.

Praying, Surfy. I understand the fear. I'm praying that the Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to her (and to you!) in a new way as she goes through this.

Surfy, I'm thinking about you guys right now, as it's still in that time frame that you said you would be having the procedure done. I am praying that God will use this experience to knit your hearts closer to one another and to him. I know the SDA/former thing is a strain, but I know that you both love God and love each other and I pray that this will enrich your marriage and your walk with Him, no matter the outcome. Of course I am praying for her to have a clean bill of health though! I wish I could bring a pot of soup and a loaf of homemade bread over for your family today so you could relax after the stress of the morning. Know that we here on the forum are thinking about you and love you and your family.

Surfy,
I am so sorry I did not check the prayer section last night. I will be praying that the biopsy comes back with nothing hurtful in it.

Procedure went well. If you call using her breast as a pincushion for various needles and probes and then removing a chunk of tissue the size of a quarter as going well. Still she is in very little pain and in good spirits. We will know in about a week about the lab work on the tissue sample.

Thanks again, Surfy
