Last night I took my wife to the hospital with an apparent heart attack. The cardiologist hasn't seen her yet so there is no prognosist yet but she is resting ok. This also somewhat stressfull because it is her birthday and this isn't what we had planned for the day. She is resting quietly in the knowledge that the Lord has her safe in his arms.

P.S. I have been up all night so this might seem a bit rambling.

Phil,
Your wife and you are in my prayers. God's awesome arms are holding you close. Matt 28, last verse says He will be with us until the end of the age. He is with you and your wife right now. Keep us posted.

Jan, my wife, is still in the hospital. The staff is thinking it might not have been a heart attack but they are not sure. She has a lot of pain on the front side of her left shoulder in the area of her pacemaker. Her symptoms are more consistant with some kind of muscle cramp but the strongest pain killer they are able to give her is having no effect. So, right now, they just don't know what is going on.

At time like this it sure is a comfert to know she is safe in God's hands.

We should know more sometime today.

Phil, I'm praying that the Lord will give the medical staff divinely-inspired wisdom to correctly diagnose and treat your wife. And that he will give you rest.

Hi brothers and sisters,
peace and grace be with you.

Please pray for the upcoming summit for Christian former adventists in Europe. We would like to have the invitation translated to the various languages in Europa, that all formers will know about the event, that God will be honored and worshiped at the event, that the body of Christ will be build up in love, truth and unity, that many will be set free.

In Jesus,
Martin

Update on my wife, Jan:
I called the hospital from here at work and they said it didn't look like a heart attack. It was most likely some kind of muscle cramp (?). Anyway, as soon as I get off work (45 minutes) I will go get her and take her home.

Update on my wife's condition. Diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer. She had one biopsy and will have a few lymph nodes removed this week to check them out. Mastectomy to follow at this point. Doesn't appear to be life threatening as it has been caught in time. They are saying there is a 95% chance this cancer will be completely eliminated after the surgery. Then, on top of that, she got hit while sitting at a red light this morning.

Prayers if you got them.

Surfy
