Kathy, I'm praying for Janet again.

I lived in Phoenix for seven years and my respiratory allergies went away when I was there. However, my husband's got much worse. When we moved back to Missouri, I thought mine would come back, but they didn't. Hubby just exchanged one type of pollen allergy for another.

I have wondered if they were aggravated by hormones, because they were at their worst when I was in my late twenties and early thirties, when my hormones were also peaking. It just so happened that we moved to Phoenix about the time I was going into menopause.

I'm in my late fifties now, and my hormones and my allergies are almost entirely extinct.

All this is to say, the allergies from which your sister suffers could be linked to her hormone levels. It's not scientific, but it might be something worth researching.

Toria, I pray for you, too. *sigh* I'm so sorry you have to go through this ongoing struggle.

Jesus' love in me reaches out to you and your loved ones with compassion. May He support and strengthen you all with His power and His victories.

Dear Toria,

I am saddened by your news, as it means more stress and strain for you and yours.

I will continue to pray not only for healing, but for strength and courage.

Even though we have never met, and live on opposite sides of our fair land, you are dear to me, and when you hurt, I feel your pain.

God, today we again hold up our sister Toria. Please send your healing hand. We thank you and praise you for this sister in Christ. She is special to us, and we want her better.

Thank you God for hearing this prayer,

Randy

Dear Toria, I admit I'm fighting tears. I continue to pray for you, that God will strengthen and sustain you, and that He will bring His peace to your husband.

You are loved.

Oh Toria,
My heart hurts for you and your news. I will ask Holy Spirit to really help me to pray here, because I just feel at a loss as to how to pray. But pray I will. Wish you were closer.
Psalm 30-thru Psalm 40 would be good reading I think, if you are up for reading. Maybe that is what I will pray for you. David knew how to lay it all out before the Lord.
Hugs

Thank you all so very much.
Reading here this morning, I feel like I've been given a group hug.

I do not post often, but I read on here almost daily. Over the past few years, I feel as though I've come to know many of you. First you were in my prayers, and as I prayed for the struggles many of you are going through, gradually I realized you had taken up residence in my heart.
So your kindness/prayers mean a lot to me.
Big ((HUG)) back to all of you.

Toria

Oh Toria,
I am so sorry that things are not getting better. I continue to pray for you and your husband and that whatever happens, it will be for God's honor and glory.
Father in Heaven, you are the Great Physician. You know I would like you to heal Toria, but you are God and know what is best for her and her husband. So as Toria goes through this hold her and her husband in your awesome hands. You are the everlasting God and are always so awesome.

I desire to thank all of you for your sweet prayers for my son, DIL, and coming baby. Especially, knowing that other women, besides myself, had false positives for Spina Bifida. (That was so encouraging ! and I passed it on to my son)

MY DIL has not gotten the amnio, yet, to tell for sure, one way or another, but I keep praying and letting them know I love them.

Neither of them are Believers (My DIL's influence--Lord help my heart and theirs!!).

I am praying for all the requests on this thread. (Martin, the Denmark riots never hit the USA news that I saw. I check news online everyday and I am appalled that it has had no mention. Prayfully and hopefully, things have settled down.)

You all are precious.

Love in Christ,
Cathy

Life is easy...

"when you're up on the mountain. You've got peace of mind like you've never known. How things change when you're down in the valley. We talk about faith when life is at its best, but the God on the mountain is still the God in the valley. When things go wrong, He'll make them right. The God of the good times is still the God in the bad times, and the God of the day is still the God in the night."

Brothers and Sisters, please welcome Lynda Randle!

I am requesting prayer from my half sister, the one with whom I went on the Mexican and Alaskan cruise. Her last tie to her brother, who died in 1987, just died last night. This is a first cousin, the youngest son of our Dad's youngest brother. He died of cancer last night. His wife is JW, so he was buried without any ceremony this morning. My sister loved him and as I said he was her last tie to her brother.
Thanks for the prayers for her. I know our awesome God is watching over her.

Jim,

I haven't been able to figure out where the prayer request you submitted is.

Could you please resubmit it, so we can more effectively minster to your needs?

Praying for you anyway, as the Lord knows what's on your heart!

I was thinking the same thing, Momma. I saw Jim's name, but no Jim.

Praying for you too, Jim!

I do not post often, but I do pray for everyone needs . May God bless you all.

I have two requests. The first is for my mother. It has been almost two years this coming Saturday since an accident she was involved in took someone's life. She feels devastated to this day. Please pray for her to find peace and that God would wrap His arms around her and comfort her.

The second request is for my cat, pictured at the left. She ran out of an open door Monday. I feel terrible because I did not know it was open. I miss her so much. Please pray that Tiffany will return home safely and for God to keep my mother, Tiffany, and me in His hands. Thank you.

Cease,

You are covered in prayer here.

My mom finally gave up driving when she almost ran into a teenage girl and it dawned on her what could happen. It still bothers her to this day and she didn't even hit the girl. I can't even imagine the pain your mom must feel. I will keep her in my prayers.

Oh those cats. I worry about mine being carried off by one of the large red-tailed hawks in the area. She sits on the top of the fence trying to snag a bird at the birdfeeder and a big hawk sometimes sits in the nighbor's tree. I'm not sure if he's looking for cat for dinner or bird. Hopefully bird! I'll pray that Tiffany will come home and that you'll be comforted until she does.
