I'm praying for you too, Jeremy. So many things going on. May Jesus hold you tightly during this time. I've lost pets before, too. It's so hard.
Have you seen the book about seeing pets in heaven? I really believe we will.

August 9th is the tentative date my wife plans to move out. She is feeling more confident since her surgery and continues to believe that a separation is what she needs to resolve and work on her own issues.

I'm wore down with this.

Please pray for us. We need a miracle. I pray for God's intercession, is that so wrong?

jim02

PS: I want to be happy again.
Before I got out of bed, I twilighted a question, what must I do?
I heard in my dream state, "Seek first the kingdom of God..............."

Jim,

In my situation, it was a physical separation of some 1500 miles that allowed my wife and myself to face and deal with the 'demons' inside each of us without the burden of making eye contact. We both totally surrendered our will to God and left our future plans in his hands. No barganing. Then, and only then, did God reveal his miracle.

I have no idea what God's 'perfect will' in your lives is. I only know it is good. Physical separation could very well be what is needed.

I am asking prayers for a woman from my church who also works with me. She has an enlarged thyroid and is having surgery on Aug 4. Please pray that all is okay.

Diana, praying now for your friend. Jim, I continue to pray for you. Seek first the kingdom of God is exactly His command to us. That is the reality on which we spend ourselves. He provides all we need as we seek His kingdom. Phil's post is totally right.

Phil, what was your miracle that God revealed?

The entering into separation is a very dreaded event. I am still not over the last one that lasted 7 months last year. She said she came back too soon, had not healed.

I have to grieve all over again.

Jim,

I hesitate to share what happened because I don't know what God's best is for you and your wife. I only know that this is what happened:

We were separated for two years. It was not a good time for me. Most of what you have expressed are things that I experienced. My wife took one daughter and moved to southern California. I was living in a little trailer at the time and we lost our home. Our other daughter was taken in by friends. Our son took off and lived somewhere in the woods. For all of us, there are bitter memories. I cried and beat on the walls of my trailer. Finally, I totally surrendered my total life and future to the Lord. I vowed to remain single and make no plans other than to follow his will.

For the first time in I don't know how long, I was able to sleep in peace. I went to work the next day, came home and there was a phone call for me. My wife wanted to put our lives back together.

It now has been over twenty years since those hard times. We are more in love than ever before. All of our kids have netted into a close family. I have grandkids here all the time and they love being here. Somewhere in all of this, the Lord has provided for all our needs. We own our property and home debt free. the details of how all this happened are a series of miracles that followed on top of the first big one.

I only know for sure that it started when I totally surrendered to the Lord. I am a sinner who praises God for every breath I take. My dad and most of that part of my family died in their mid-fufties, yet, I am 67 years old and in good health.

The Lord bless you Jim as you search for God's will in your life. And, I pray for your wife because the miracle God has in mind includes something special for her to.

The spiritual attacks have gotten way worse tonight. I can't go into details but please pray for my spiritual and physical protection.

Just checked in here and I am praying for all these prayer requests.

Jeremy, I have prayed that God will put a hedge of protection around you as of now.
Believe it and receive it in Jesus name.

Also to you Jim, I pray that God will place a hedge of protection around your mind and that God will work a mighty miracle on your behalf and that the cry of your heart will be answered.
Receive that prayer of faith. Lift up the lord Jesus in faith a praise in spite of what you see, he is a miracle working God.

Seek you first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness and all these "Things" will be added unto you. Let the word of God be true and every man a liar who would stare at it in unbelief.

Toria, praying for you every single day.

I'm off again. Bye now.

Am praying Lord, for all the needs expressed by my friends on this forum.

You know each of our needs, even more than we do. Please allow us in our human myopic ways to let You be God, and to accept what You determine for us, your children.

A special prayer for Toria, Jim, and Jeremy.

If we ever, needed, the Lord before, we sure do need Him now...

Jim and Jeremy, I am praying that God will protect and hold you both, that He will take care of you as a Father would, protecting and strengthening and walking with you through the challenges you can't see and those you can.

Father, please help Jeremy and Jim to experience You as their true Father. Please protect and take care of them. Help them to experience Your comfort and reassurance and Your pleasure in them. Thank you, Father.
