Ahh...Barb, come here and let me hug you! I'm sorry your mom took such a fall. You are a loving daughter. It's only natural to need to vent about the Adventism stuff once in awhile here, and it helps you to talk about it with others, so you can prevent your frustrations from coming out in a conversation with her. She knows you love her. I'm praying for comfort and peace for both of you - tonight and tomorrow.

Love, Diana

Bb, Please know you and your mom are in my prayers. It is so hard to watch isn't it.

I haven't given an update on my mom but can so relate. Treasure every moment with her. I, too wish I could give you a real hug. A cyber hug will have to do.

I have told you about my niece Kim. She is now the foster mother of a 12/13 year old girl. They are coming to visit me Oct 9 and will return Oct 13. Kim is going to be in a wedding here in Vegas. Kim knows about God and adventism. She has her own beliefs which involve talking to her dead mother. Pray for me and her and her foster daughter.
Thanks

Thank you all so much for the prayers and hugs!!!! She had the surgery and it was successful and uneventful this time. The OR nurse did mention to me that she "coded" on Friday! But today she and I both had a peace. I spent the night at the hospital and we had a good time before she went in. She was calm and we prayed together. I so appreciate all of you.

Diana, I pray that you may have the right words to help and encourage Kim during her visit.

Hi every one.

Thank you for all your prayers on behalf of Karen and please know that I am also remembering your requests as well.

Karen has continued to improve. She was able to receive another treatment last Monday and is scheduled for another today.

I have another prayer request.

One of my best friends from our small group and also our tuesday morning men's bible study was visiting his mother in Ontario to help her prepare for winter when he became ill and went to the hospital. I'm not sure what their diagnosis was while was there but they sent him back here to Alberta directly to the hospital here. The diagnosis is Cancer on/in his liver and lung's. As of now they are saying that they have no treatment to offer. He is in enough pain that they are administering morphine and continuing to run tests that will hopefully point to a treatment.

Please pray for him and his family and friends who are struggling with this test of Faith and human endurance.

Thanks!!!

I asked Lori, our pastor's wife about Cole. He had a staph infection on top of his allergies and is better now. He will always have problems with those allergies.

Jdpascal; I'm praying for your friend.

I have a prayer request. I wrote another letter to the SDA church asking them to remove my membership and detailing several theological reasons why. (I had written one before, but that time I had put my request at the end instead of at the beginning, so they probably never saw it. Also this time I put my phone number down.)
Anyway, the SDA pastor called tonight, asking if I'd like to talk to him. Please pray that I make the right decision about whether to talk to him. I would have a Christian friend with me and we would try, with the Lord's help, to get him to see the gospel.

Asurprise, I am praying for you that God will work through you if it is His will that you talk to him. I admire your courage!

Asurprise, I'm praying now that God will make it clear to you whether ot not you should speak to him, that if you should, He will give you words, and if you shouldn't, that you will have peace about letting it go.

Guys, I need prayer again. I had an ambulance ride with my mom to the ER today as her blood pressure plummeted, and she was so weak. They are checking everything from infection, kidneys, blood clots, pacemaker etc. etc. I am home now as she is stable. But this is the 2nd time I have been in the waiting room and heard "STAT" and knew it was for her. She had another bad episode in the ER and they brought her out of it. She is so strong in her mind and will, but her body is frail and weak and breaking down. My brothers and sisters all are in touch by phone but all live thousands of miles away. I just need a heavy dose of prayer. Thanks.
