Thank you everyone. I spent the day in ICU yesterday. God is giving me strength and I know that your prayers are a part of that! I do want to tell you all that I took our pastor/friend to see her in the morning yesterday. She was a little confused and childlike (possibly an ICU thing) but talked with him about the Lord. He would start a Bible verse and she would finish it and start a new one! They had a nice conversation and he talked to her about how wonderful God was, etc. Then he asked her if she had ever asked Jesus into her heart, and she said "I don't think so", and he invited her to pray with him, and she repeated after him and asked Jesus into her heart! I was over there crying and it was just precious. Imagine knowing the Bible inside and out and not receiving the gift! I asked her later if she remembered it, and she said "yes, I've heard that prayer before, it's a Baptist thing", and I said yes, but they got it from the Bible. She said "Oh yes". Anyway, I am continuing to need your prayers and it is comforting to know that you all are there. Thank you again.

Need Prayer!!

Hi All,
I have to leave now for the cancer clinic. I am scheduled for tests, chemo, and an 'important' visit with my oncologist tomorrow.

I just got a call from the clinic to inform me that the bloodwork faxed to them from the local hospital (which I had done this am), shows my neutrophil count is too low for me to have chemo.

I still have to keep my appointment with my oncologist, and have the other tests. That means a long drive, and an overnight, with another long drive afterwards. It will be a true blessing if I can have my treatment at the same time. They will do a bloodtest tomorrow at the clinic and if all is ok, I will still have my treatment.
Please, pray that my neutrophil count goes up enough for that to happen.

Thank you in advance...
Blessings,
Toria

Toria,
Father in Heaven, Let her neutrophil count be where it should be so Toria can have her treatment. Thank you awesome God.

I pray Lord, that you work things together to allow Toria to have her treatment. You are powerful and we trust that you will do Your will in her life and come to her rescue.

Father, please be more real to Toria than the uncertainty and fear. Please make is possible for her to have her treatment, and bless and sustain her with Your Spirit. All things are in Your hands, and I pray that you will be her strength and health and fill her body and her heart with Your healing and comfort.

Thank you for her; please bless her deeply with Yourself. Thank you for caring for her.

Hi all,

I am asking prayer for my wife Donna, she has grown steadily worse until she is no longer able to walk at all hardly.

The doctors told her it was pinched nerves in her that was most of the cause, they gave her spinal injections but she is showing no improvement and she is in so much pain.

Last night she was laying in bed crying, she is so afraid she will never be able to walk again.

It is breaking my heart also to see her like this and I am so worried for her myself, I do have much faith for other people, but I need people to have faith for me and for her in this case.
Thank you so much.
I love you all.

River,
I am a therapist and would like to be there to treat her, but I am not. I can pray for Donna and you.
Father in Heaven, you know this burden River has on his heart for his wife, his companion of so many years. Heal her and let her and River know that you are there for them in all conditions and situations.
Thank you Awesome God.

Thank you all so much, I took her to see the other house we are moving into in Battleground, there is 5 steps leading up to the front door and she could,t raise her leg to get up the first step so I had to tell her what the house was shaped like and call it off through the open door while she sat in the car.

You ladies know how the ladies like to plan where everything goes.

I am sitting here crying as I try to write this, but I can't let her see me cry, I got to be strong for her. I can fix the steps or make a ramp, I just can't fix her.

Pardon me for spilling on you and I do appreciate your prayers so much.
I am just so very sad and worried tonight.

A ramp would be the best thing for her. I can feel you sadness. When you spill on us, it is because that is why God put us here, to bear each others burdens. I cannot give you a hug, so here is a cyber hug ((((((((((River))))))))))
We love you River.
