River, for some reason I didn't see this last night. I am definitely praying for your wife and also for you. Our Maker knows how to relieve pressure and reduce inflammation and restore/sustain function. Dear Father, you are our true Father, and I come to you right now on behalf of my brother River and my sister Donna. Please hold and comfort them both. Please give River deep peace and Sabbath rest in his heart as he cares for Donna, and fill him with hope that comes from the reassurance and strength of Your Spirit. Please bind and remove any harassment that might be attempting to discourage Donna and River as they make this move. Thank you for providing this job opportunity for River and for the advantages of this move and the new community to which You are taking them. Please relieve Donna's pain and give her mobility. I pray that she will be able to trust You with her legs and her walking, that she will surrender to You her walking and this pain and rest in You, knowing that You will give her what she needs and that You will not abandon her or toss her aside just because of physical infirmity. Dear Father, please comfort them both with Your Spirit. Please be very real to them; please be more real to Donna than her fear, and please give her Your strength in this place of her weakness. And give River hope and joy and the ability to praise God and to engage Donna in thanksgiving with him. Please help him to know how to love her and care for her in Your stead, and please bless this move. Please protect and deliver them from evil and attack, and bless them in this surprising and wonderful transition. Thank you, Father. Thank you all for the prayers. Mom has moved finally to rehab where they will evaluate her needs. I have spent SO much time at the hospital, but now my sister has come to help.I have had such an amazement at the level of peace and trust I have had through this valley! I know that prayer is vital! I can't even describe how it feels to actually know I am in the hands of God and can trust Him!!! | ||

I met an old friend on Facebook. I knew her about 15 years ago and she was not SDA at the time. She did become SDA and said she had her doubt about Jesus and is tired of SDA teaching now. Pray that God will give me the right words to share with her. | ||
