I left a prayer request I cannot put here. It is on the members section. Please look for it. You will see why I put it there. And say many prayers.

Good evening forum family,

I havn't heard from my daughter since the last phone call several days ago so I don't know how they are doing at the present time.

However, I have peace that comes partly because of all your prays.

Thank you one and all,

Phil

My dear wife of forty-two years, Janeane, had severe pains today and was booked into the hospital. She has an existing heart condition and wears a pacemaker. The cardiologist thinks it was caused by "pressure behind the pacemaker" so it appears to not be a critical problem. My prayer is that this is so.

In God I trust,

Phil

Jan is ok and home. Hooch is happy. Life if good. The cardiologist prescribe something for inflamed muscles (around her pacemaker) and said that should take care of the problem. Thanks for your support.

A friend and I are going to be meeting with at least one Adventist tonight at 7:00 PM for a Bible study. Please pray that the study goes well. Thanks

Although where Peggy (Benevento) lives is up on a hillside, the general area has been devestated with some major flooding. We haven't heard from her in awhile so it comes to mind that we should lift her and her family in prayer for their safety.

Praying for Peggy, thankful that Jan is ok and even though I am late in seeing the one about the Bible study tonight with an SDA, I will be praying that God will convict this person.

Praying for Peggy.

Thank-you for praying, Flyinglady. The Bible study went better than I had hoped. One Adventist came - the same Adventist who's been coming to those other Bible studies - the ones where I've been asking for prayer. (We didn't have the studies over the holidays.)

This time we started going through the New Testament, starting with the book of John (since there are 4 gospels). The Bible, studied in context, destroys all false doctrine and even in the first few chapters of John, we were able to point out some things. Later, the Bible gets a whole lot clearer about salvation, versus the Adventist false "gospel." Pray that this Adventist lady comes to understand the gospel.

Asurprise, I am so glad you are starting the NT with John. I call the book, God's love story to us. It tells us how much God loves us. I will continue praying.

My sister was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Her doctor seems optimistic that she will beat it. My sister is going into this with an upbeat attitude. Please pray that she will find comfort and peace in the rough patches, that her SDA friend will not persuade her to go back to church, and above all, know Jesus for real. Thank you.

Diana,

Thank you for praying for my sister. I am heartened by the support of the FAF family.

Leigh Anne,

I knew Lance Shetler from San Diego Academy--I was a grade behind him. He was a nice, sweet guy. Although I was not a popular student, Lance would say "Hi" to me in the hallway. This is such a horrible loss. I lost my father when I was 12 years old; I can only imagine the pain Lance's children and family are feeling. May God be glorified in all of this and hold them in His arms.

I knew Wayne also--he's a nice guy, too.
