I was very touched that you were praying for my family and me--
thank you--we do live on a hill, and while we were snowed in
could make it down to the highway when the snow melted. We do
look out on a lot of water and a lot of people are much worse off
than we are. The ground all around is soaked, and there have
been hillslides but no one was killed it them, so we are thankful.
I have had family here so haven't checked much--catching up
for the holidays.
Cease_Striving--praying for your sister also. God bless!!Peggy

I have a request for a family friend her name is
Daisy. Her husband of 50 years passed away last night. He was a lifelong SDA, yet I am sure that he was saved. His devotion was to the Lord. Roy and Daisy were one of the few SDAs who would actually sit down and have bible studies/discussions with me when I left the SDA church. They have been a part of my family for most of my life. I'm going to miss him and I'm sure he's surprised that he's not "sleeping" but very awake and alive in the presence of Jesus. Daisy is in good spirits but she lives in a small town and my parents who are beginning to age themselves are one of the few supports she has so my prayer is for her to continue to be strenghtened during this time and that God will put the right people to aid whatever physical needs and whatever needs a widow may have.

Here I am again with another prayer request for the Bible study that I'll be at with a friend and an Adventist lady. Pray that the study goes well tonight. It's at 7:00 PM. Thanks :-)

(I'm praying for the earlier prayer requests on this thread.)

Thank-you Gcfrankie and Colleen. :-) Actually we've been having this Bible study each Friday evening (but we won't be this coming Friday because one of the people won't be able to attend.)

I wanted to ask for your prayers for my wife and I. I'm a little choked up right now so its hard to offer details, but she indicated this morning that she wants a divorce, and is going to see an attorney. We have been separated for over a year and I have always been hopeful for reconciliation. This is a new positioning for her.

Christo,
I am praying for both you and your wife. As Colleen says God is faithful and He certainly knows what is best for us better then we do.

Father God I am asking you to wrap your loving arms around Christo and give him comfort through your son Jesus and that his wife will listen to your calling. You know what is best for them so I am lifting these two people up into your loving arms. I thank-you for being so awesome and loving.
In your in precious Son Jesus Christ, Amen.
