Hi Colleen;
Thank you for asking. I have had two treatments. With the first one I was given a (new for me) drug to help with the side effects of chemo. I had a bad reaction. Got really sick. (lost 6 lbs in 2 days kind of sick). The second treatment a week ago was not so bad. I am slowly getting my energy back. I will have four more treatments (the next one on April 2nd), and then they will do the usual tests to see if they are helping. After that...we must wait and see.

Our Lord is faithful. Through it all I feel Him with me. I wish I knew the words to tell of His amazing grace.

Blessings,
Toria

Praying for needs today, Rangeric, Toria as always,Berit, keri, Dianna.

I just got the news a few minutes ago about one of our space renters here in the park, I had just met him about a week ago and had a good chat with him.

He is a trucker and had just finished his load and was taking paper work and was run over by a Semi-rig and was killed yesterday.

He leaves his wife and children behind. My heart aches for his young family.
They could use some prayer today.

I have a a praise and a request. My Mom is still not speaking with me but my Dad was down visiting us for a few days this week. The visit went well...he so enjoyed seeing and playing with the kids again. We haven't seen him since July. Before he left this morning, we had a talk about my mom. He asked if I could somehow take the first step to reconcile with her. I told him if there was something I could do to make things better with us, I would. But the last thing my Mom said to me was that I was working for the devil and if I continue in my "ways" I would be lost, and my kids along with me. He told me that it was wrong for my mom to say such an awful thing and that he didn't agree with her. (Praise!) Please pray that my Dad will "see the light". He is not so narrow-minded, like my Mom. And please pray that when my Dad gets home and talks with my Mom, that she won't make him "take sides". I know this will cause tension between them and I just pray that my Mom's heart will be softened like my Dad's has started to be. Thanks everyone!

Toria, sorry I didn't know you're battling cancer, you will be on my prayer list.

River, this is sad, I am praying for the family.

Kristen, I always pray for your situation.

I get busy and I don't visit the prayer section, but this is probably the most important part of the forum. I should login more often...

I have three friends on my mind for the past two days and I've been praying for them. Two of them work for the local SDA Conference. I sent them 5 CD's from Mark Martin - 3 on The Covenants and 2 of the "Evangelical Adventist", they promised to listen to them may be as early as this weekend. Please pray for the preparation of their hearts. I know they do have some questions, but too much as at stake...

The 3rd friend holds a high position in a business owned by the Conference. He is very solid in his SDA beliefs and takes the writings on my blog very personal. He doesn't really have points to argue, but he doesn't agree with me either, he's a good politician. I hope that some of the things he's been plugging his ears not to hear for years, now managed to get in. He appears stubborn, but I say when the Holly Spirit gets a hold of someone, they can turn around 180 degrees. He tries to discourage me from publishing things because now with a larger sphere of influence through Internet, I don't know who is reading and how this would affect their life. Bottom line, what if the "truths" I share with people turn out to be wrong, I would be held responsible and one day will have to answer to God.

I don't even want to give the initials of their names, because this is a public section and if someone knows me, these people can easily be identified through me. But please pray for them, God knows who they are...

I can't seem to keep up with the forum right now but want to come here if nowhere else. My urgency for prayer has been so strong in recent weeks.

Praying for all - Toria, family River knows, Kristen as well! Kristen I saw on facebook that your dad was coming - so wondered if your parents were divorced! ha. Glad to hear they are not, and hopefully your dad will help to mediate as well.

I am in the middle of an email discussion with a Hebrew Roots friend, so I beg for your prayers for her, and for the Holy Spirit to speak through me in love. Thank you!
