I don't visit FAF often, but you are all in my prayers and thoughts.

My sister is going through rough times, both physically and financially. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Hodgkin's lymphoma. Though the largest mass has decreased in size from 5 cm to 3 cm, the chemo is taking its toll on her. She cannot keep solid foods down and she feels too weak to go to work more than a couple days in the week following her chemo treatments.

Between my sister's missing work more than she wishes and my brother-in-law's difficulty finding work (he was without a job for a month, but is working now), they have do not have enough money to pay their bills.

I wish I could help them, but all I can do is pray for my sister and brother-in-law to receive the help they need. Please pray that they get financial help from a family member or anyone who can afford to help them get on their feet and that my sister feels well enough to work more often--she loves her job. She feels so discouraged and scared because they will only be able to pay half of their mortgage payment this month. My sister is in not in any physical or mental condition to lose her home.

Thank you for praying. May God hold my sister and brother-in-law in His arms and bless them abundantly.

No prayer request since the 8th? Well, I got one.
My Grand daughter is going to drive all the way from Portland Oregon, to Orlando Fl starting Monday
and Grandpa is uneasy, for one thing Poppy (thats me) don't want her to go, she has never been away from home. I got a bad case of the powdered baby butt syndrome and I am too petrified to pray for her.

I am so uneasy.

Would yall please pray and seek God for my baby's safty.

She is nineteen, I know, tell me she's a women, she is still my baby. Her name is Britteny.

I call her Boo Boo, because when she was a baby she was scared of my Garfield house slippers.
So I call her Boo Boo, or baby. I tried to get her to fly, but you know kids.

I so appreciate your prayers in this, I guess I need them too. More than anything I want her to be safe.

Father God, Be with Britteny, place an angel on each corner of her car ... May she not be alone as she drives this long way ... protect her ...

And Lord be with Poppy who worries about her traveling ... may he sense your protection around her and may he be at peace.

Amen.

River,
Praying for your granddaughter and for you. I know how frightening it can be when our young ones strike out on their own. Is she going by herself or does she have someone going with her?

Father God be with Britteny and wrap your loving arms around her and keep her safe as she travels cross country and I am also asking you to give peace of mind to River and his wife and let them know you are riding along with their her to keep her safe. This I ask in you Holy Sons name, Jesus Christ. Amen

She has her boy friends Sister with her, thank God,
I am already having more peace. You don't know how much I appreciate the prayers.

I have a hard time committing those that are so dear to me too the Lord, I know that is not supposed to be the way it is, it is just the way it is.

I think, Lord after all these years, at times I am no more than putty in trusting you.

At times I feel so weak and undone and cannot pray for myself.

Paul, praying for you and your family.
Father in Heaven, Paul was let go from his job yesterday. You know what he needs. You promise in Hebrews that you will never leave us or forsake us. Hold Paul in your awesome arms at this time. Help him to find a job.
