I would also ask for prayer as I leave in a few hours for the cancer clinic. I have another treatment tomorrow and the last few have been difficult.

With thanks
and blessings to all,
Toria

Toria,
Thank you for sharing ... I have wondered how you were doing ...

Father, God, be with Toria as she goes for treatment. May she sense your presence very close to her throughout the treatment time and the recovery afterwards. Father, hold her close and may she sense that she is not alone. We also pray for healing for her. Amen.

My Grand Daughter is in Mo. My wife is following her on her map I made for her.
She may be in Orlando by tomorrow night.

My wife is one that got lost following I-5 so that gives you an idea about what she knows about map reading, but it gives her something to hold in her hand.

One time we were just going down to California, so I get through Portland and I give her the wheel and I am going to sleep, I wake up and she is in Spring field Oregon, I said, "what are you doing in Springfield Oregon? she says "Well, I am following the five." I say, "well, no you ain't, you can't follow a four lane Highway?"

Toria, I've also been wondering how you're doing and continuing to pray. Please keep us posted...

River, I blush to admit that I unfortunately understand your wife's "handicap". I can usually manage to stay on the correct highway when I'm driving, but Richard just can't understand why I can't just look at a map and instantly report where and how to turn.

I have to examine it, figure out which direction represents "right" and "left", etc etc etc. Sigh. I would be a failure as any sort of navigator!

Colleen,

River has it all wrong, so let me explain. Keep in mind that up until Jan and I moved north in 1980, I had lived the major part of my life in the North Bay Area and pretty much know all the roads in Napa, Sonoma, Solono and Lake Counties.

On our first date we went to San Francisco. She simply said, as we started for home in Napa; "I have never been across the Golden Gate Bridge". I said; "No problem, we'll go that way". Somehow, in country I lived in most of my life, we ended up headed for thr Russian River and the coast. Later, on our honeymoon, she grabed the road map and out of self defense, learned to read the thing and navigate.

Given the right incentive, you can do it.

P.S. My driving skills have a lot to do with why they call me 'Fearless'.

My precious Grand Daughter is in Orlando this morning sleeping the trip off as I speak.

Thank you saints for your prayers, I have had peace over it all week and have felt your prayers.

You are so appreciated and loved by me every one.

Awe, River, grandpa is going to sleep well tonight ...

Thank You Jesus, for watching over this young woman as she traveled, thank You for watching over her grandpa's heart this week, and now Lord, draw this young woman close to Your heart. Continue to watch over her.

If I might ask for prayer ...

I have an important and difficult meeting on Monday, May 11. It has the potential of changing many things in my life ... and it involves someone I wish to share the full gospel of grace with ...

If you would pray that I would share my testimony with clarity, that the person that hears it will have a receptive heart and that they will experience cognitive dissonance.

Also, that I will clearly be able to discern God's direction from the meeting.

Thanks,
Keri
