Hi Folks,
Colleen asked that I keep you updated on what's happening.
My treatments have been postponed...last week and again the one scheduled for tomorrow. It seems my neutrophils (white blood cells) are way too low for it to be safe to have treatment. The lowest safe level is 1.5 and mine is 0.7 right now.
I will have bloodwork again on Wednesday and if all is ok...chemo on Thursday.
I am asking for prayer that all will be well so I can finish the treatments.

Blessings,
Toria

Thank you guys. I do so covet your prayers.

There are two more treatments in this round, then CT-scan and other tests to see if the treatments worked and where to go from there.
I am beginning to feel like a lab rat.

Seriously, I know that anything that happens to me happens because the Father allows it. I do not understand the 'why', but I trust Him. If He allows it, He is with me in it. I hold on to His promises like Isaiah 41:10.

Blessings to all,
Toria

Toria, your hold on Jesus is a blessing to me. We are where He wants us right now and He is there with us. I hold onto Heb 13 where it says He will never leave us or forsake us.
Thanks for the update. I will continue to pray for you.

Dear Toria,

All I can add is that you are in my prayers every day. Isaiah 41:10 is also one of my favorite verses. Your faith through all of this is such an encouragement.

How I pray that that Jesus will hold you tightly and the Hold Spirit will comfort you continually through all of this.

I pray that those white blood cells will multiply faster than Spud's race car in your blood.

I pray for easy treatments that will destroy every cancer cell and nothing else.

Most of all, I pray that your joy and faith will increase daily and be so evident that many will be in heaven because of the testimony you share through all of this.

Jesus loves you and I do, too.

Your sister in Jesus,

Joyfulheart

Toria,

I was thinking of you about last week this time and I thank you for the update and the opportunity to pray for you. Your faith is reminding me of Paul's right now, that man went through so many physically disparaging things and yet he held onto the promises of God and God used him to write many others to us.

Dear Sister, my heart is full by your testimony of faith. Thanks for the Isaiah verse, here you are in need of prayer yet you are lifting me up.

God bless

Enoch

I feel embarrased for asking for prayer on this matter but because I want to be a good steward of the resources God has given to me, I am asking for you to agree with me in prayer.

I have some decisions to make about obtaining a vehicle. God has so blessed me over the last several years in that my father-in-law is a very capable mechanic and has kept my in an operating vehicle of some shape or form. The transmission went out on my van and fortunately my daughter had the day off from school and the vehicle was pushed home.

It's unclear whether my old van will be worth fixing and if not then that means getting another used vehicle. I don't believe in debt and loathe car payments. If necessary I'll do I've had tough financial times before, and God has seen me through.

My overarching concern is being a good steward of God's resources. There is never a convenient time to be car-less but this comes at a time when I have been making a concerted effort to be more frugal so that I can give more funds to the Lord's work, in particular LAM.

My prayer is that I hear and follow what God's will is in this situation-I know He's got it worked out already-and that it will not negatively impact my ability to financially support His work

Thanks

Enoch

Enoch, I am praying for God to provide you with the transportation He knows you need. He knows you need it—and He will provide.
