Nowisee,
Continuing to pray for your sister and BIL.
They are so very blessed to have YOU to talk to and to pray for and with them. (I am sure they know that).

Nowisee,
I am praying that God will give emotional peace and comfort to your sister and brother-in-law as they face their business problems brought on by the other partners and that through this the foggy veil of sda will be lifted from their eyes and they truely see what a loving Lord we have who stands by us.
My prayers go out to you all.

Thank you all so much for your prayers for my grown children and my brother.

i so long for them all to have a close walk with the God,who loves them so much.

Sondra
i am praying a hedge of protection around your daughter.

The choice of a spouse is the second most important decision in life.

i pray that God will reveal Himself in a mighty way to her young man.

You are so WISE to begin TODAY to pray for your grandbabies to be Godly seed.

Nowisee
your sis and bil are on my heart.
i am praying that this situation will be used of our Lord to bring them to the true treasure of knowing and loving and trusting in Jesus.

whatever things were gain to me, those things i have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
More than that, i count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of KNOWING Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom i have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that i may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, NOT having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death..

Honest Witness in concentrated prayer today for your husband that his bonds would be broken and he would be set free in Christ.

one can put a thousand to flight
two can put ten thousand to flight

love and prayers and gratefulness to all

James 5: 16 - 18 The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.

Hey Berit,

Totally unrelated, but I live in Hungary and have been looking for contact with Christians in Austria for ages. Do you have any? I speak English, German and Hungarian.
We have been looking for this since about Feb this year!

Nowisee I pray for God's grace to abound greatly

Honestwitness I pray that God will guide you, sustain you and comfort you in this situation. I can't help but think of 1 Cor 7 where the saved spouse sanctifies the marriage-I pray for you to have courage as you remain an honest witness

I received a phone call from my brother in Helena, Montana on Thursday. He told me he was on an aluminum ladder. It collapsed and he landed on his feet, but broke the tibia and fibula of the right leg. He fell about 6 feet. He called me as soon as he arrived at the hospital. I have been in phone contact with him every other day. He is learning to trust God. When speaking to him today he was saying why did God let this happen. I told him to ask God to show him what he is to learn from this injury, then I prayed with him before I hung up. Please remember my brother in your prayers. This brother is a former SDA and attends a Messianic Jewish congregation. I love him so much and want him to know Jesus.
Diana L

ps He told me the break is bad and that he will be out of commission for 6 weeks. He works as a school bus driver.

I will be praying for your brother.. I didn't realize he was Messianic. If it's the same teaching we believed.. so much focus on the blessing/curse of the law.. every time something bad happens, you think you failed and God is punishing you. I will pray for your brother to know the grace of God and the love of God in all situations. As well as a healed leg!!

Heavy prayer burdens today in my court:

one unspoken for a forum member here.. today is a crucial day.

another friend is asking for prayer for her teenage son who is violently angry and may have to be arrested and taken out of the home.

and my mother in law told me today they are in danger of losing their home and everything to the IRS for back taxes. She is a believer, husband is not.. Praying for her to have peace and not be overtaken in fear.

Thank you all for your prayers!!!

Sondra, my brother is not the extreme Messianic Jew that you know about. He does believe in Jesus but does not have a personal relationship with him.
Will pray for the unspoke request, for your friend and her son and for your mother in law.

Diana,
Praying for your brother and healing for both his body and spirit.
Six weeks huh ??? Does he have internet ?
Just thinking six weeks laid up with a Bible and some links to some good sites.... like FAF, Mark Martins, etc.. especially since he is a former SDA . Just a thought :-)
OR... six weeks would be plenty of time to get through a good book such as Sabbath in Christ :-)

Need prayers for continued wisdom in dialogue with sda friends and family. Got a long email testimony this weekend about how God moved in an sda church after a series of meetings. I want to respond honestly and lovingly. I really need God's words, not mine. Lots of contact also with sda's (neighbors and the extended family/local church) One teenage boy confided in my son that he isn't sure he believes in God at all. He said all he has ever seen "Christians" do is gossip and hate one another. We are praying for him to find Jesus too. Thank you!!!

Need prayers for my daughter who has a prescription drug addiction. She is talking to a Baptist minister from out of state who counsels people with addictions. He is a the my sister in law's pastor and she feels he can help my daughter. So far she has only spoke with him by phone but maybe someday she can counsel with him in person.

Just catching up on the prayer requests here. Diana, I am praying for your brother. Also praying Sondra for your requests.
