Jim,
Praise God for answering your prayer for your son finding another job where he can make a decent job, for his church standing by him and the pastor who will be mentoring him.
Yes it is an answer to prayer with the economic times and the shambles it is in with so many people out of work.
As Jesus teaches Father God will not let one sparrow fall out of the tree. We may slip but He is there to catch us as long as we believe in His son Jesus.
Than-you God for the answered prayers for Jim's son.

I have told all of you how God arranged for me to work part time at my job from which I retired in April 2008. Now He is leading me elsewhere to work from home and make money. I asked God to be definite in His answers and He was. I am working only in the mornings at the hospital. The way it looks is that I will not be there much longer as I got a phone call this morning and was told there was only one patient for the outpatients this am and one of the in house therapists would work with the out patient. God has assured me that He will never leave me or forsake me and I believe Him. Our awesome God is supplying my needs and will supply yours also.
Thank you God.

I want to post an encouraging word to everyone about God's faithfulness! The 3D ultrasound/sonograms of my little grandaughter were emailed to me. They are amazing & she is healthy & beautiful. Her mom is feeling much better & surviving the heat of the Phoenix area.

God is good, even when we can't see Him working, He still is! Guess what? In 4 days on the market my son & daughter-in-law's house has had a steady stream of interested people. And--they got TWO offers today! Unbelievable in this economy! No matter if these two offers pan out, I want to praise a God who answers prayers. THANK YOU all for your prayers...you have been so kind & it's so exciting to know that God really is there. (I know He's not a giant Santa Claus, but this has been something that is confirming the reality of God to my son & his family!)

I want to thank you all for your prayers. We arrived home safe from our trip to Europe. I praise God for the good time we had with family and friends and His mercy and protection during our travel. For those of you who ever drove in Europe, you know what I mean... We spent allot of time in the car... God is good, that's all I can say.

Thank you once again for your prayers, it means allot to me and my wife.

Dear FAF family--Re my son & daughter-in-law's house: Their first offer fell through & I could hear the discouragement in my son's voice on the phone. It would have been a cash sale which meant no bank appraisal (good thing!) But, I'm learning God REALLY is faithful & just trusting Him as He is bigger than the current economy.

Well, the second offer came through! Their home inspection went very well & it now all depends on the bank appraisal. Their house is small & they put it up for a very good price, but I know how bad house sales are right now & I have been absolutely amazed at what has happened to them. As Diana says, God is awesome. And, I am continuing to learn that He is faithful in the practical areas of our lives.

We just got word that the cancer is too far along for my daughter in law to receive therapy so I guess that's our answer. My heart is heavy right now and I pray for a peaceful and comfortable transition for her. Thank you for your prayers. Peggy

I am so sorry.
I am wondering... have they checked outside their local medical network ?
I have heard good reports about "incurable / terminal" cancer patients going places and receiving non traditional treatment and having wonderful success.
I don't want to give false hope,, but I think there si still hope of recovery for many outside of traditional medicine.
Regular USA medical doctors are only allowed to use specific treatments and normally do not suggest alternatives.. kind of, " we cant do anything,, so just accept it" type of thinking.

About 30 years ago I had a very dear friend whose sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Margaret was given aprox 6 weeks to live.
From someone she heard about a Doctor in Greece and she flew to see him. His name was Haraton Alezevatos (sp) and he treated patients with IV injections of VERY low dose Hydrogen Peroxide.
(H2O2) is simply water with an extra molecule of oxygen. Apparently cancer cells cannot live in a high oxygen environment. Anyway, she had this done, said it took about 30 minutes and all she felt was a slight warming sensation through her body. She stayed in a local Hotel room.. went back and had it done a few times and then came back home.
She started making herself get out and walk some each day and after 6 months she was feeling so much better,, and she went back to see her "regular" doctor who was amazed she was still among the living... he did tests and found that there was NO SIGN of cancer. He had no explanation.
Last I head (about 6-8 years ago) Margaret was still cancer free and still living up in the Bay area outside of San Francisco.
The doctor she saw in Greece died several years ago but his son took over his practice and as far as I know is still there...
NOW the treatment is also being done in Canada and Mexico. (the American Medical Association will not allow the treatment here as they cannot "patent" the treatment and there is no $$$$$ to be made.
I heard just a couple years ago about a medical doctor in San Diego who also has an office just over the border in Mexico where he does this procedure along with other "non traditional" treatments that he is NOT ALLOWED to do inside the US.
If interested you could probably find him or someone else by doing a search for "hydrogen peroxide therapy" or something similar.

Also, I have heard that the "Cancer Treatment Centers Of America" have had good success and they use a combination of traditional and "experimental" treatments as well as being a "Christian" environment. Which churches they are associated with if any I do not know.
I don't want to give false hope... BUT, sometimes when it seems there is no hope,,there may still be.
Anyway, it cant hurt any to do some checking on it and see if there is something out there. Even if her regular doctor advises against it.. at this point if he cannot do anything... just maybe someone else can.
With God ALL things are possible.

I will be praying.

I just did a search and there are a LOT of places with information on the web.
Apparently there now ARE places in the US that use h202 therapies.
I dont know how to put links on here.... it keeps taking me to the whole page.. but just type in
"hydrogen peroxide therapies"
lots of information.

Peggy, here is a big hug for you...I'm so sorry. Thanks to God that He promises to walk through the valley of the shadow of death with us; we won't, any of us, be alone. Remember that wonderful statement from Jesus that HE is the Resurrection and Life. He will be there for you all--give your DIL a hug from someone who cares in SoCal!

We have a house for sale in Austria and we thought we would not be able to by a new home until it is sold. This fall we have been so lucky - or blessed, that we could buy a new home. It is a two apartment house, where we can rent out the smaller place. In this way we will have lower housing costs than at the moment!
It has a huge garden with lots of appeltrees (I love gardening). And the irony is that this house was previous ovned by an sda independet ministry where we went to bible school and worked some years ago. Had no plans moving back there (10 min drive away), but I think it will turn out well. I am so happy now! Thank you God that we finally will have our own home with more space and a garden!
