In regard to my mother-in-law and their tax situation, it appears from their lawyers consultation that a deal will be possible and they will not lose their home. However, it will still be a hardship on them for years to come.

The family with the teenage son I asked for prayer for is seeing amazing healing starting to take place in their son. They have a good counselor it sounds like - so thank you for your prayers in his regard! Very scary situation for the whole family.

I suppose this is an "answers to prayer" type thing. Was there/is there a "matters for praise" thread!?
Anyway.
I just came across this website which deals with the errors of Adventism in Hungarian!

http://www.adventizmuskutatas.hu/

I have read some of the articles, and it seems pretty good. Deals with the basic problematic areas, such as the Millerite movement, 1844, Ellen, and the Sabbath. Nothing on the state of the dead...

But there is stuff on the Bible school "Sola Scriptura". It seems the guy who runs this site went to the college, but spotted the problems, and his studies on Adventism sprang from this point. This is the same college my friend Gyula went to. Some see the problems, some don't...

I particularly liked this article:

http://www.adventizmuskutatas.hu/sstf-hf.html

OK, I know most of you can't read it, but I feel exited about this, and I wanted to share it with someone. Who else but you lot? This is a positive step!

I wrote a comment on the guy's blog, and am waiting for a response...

Thanks for sharing this Adrian. Maybe we can't read the websites, but we know the excitement of knowing some one else knows the cultic doctrine of adventism. So share away and we praise our awesome God with you.

Adrian, this is awesome news! I really sense God uncovering the deceptions systematically and in ways and places we wouldn't have guessed.

How amazing!

Thanks all,
Another guy also just wrote to me and said my Adventism studies had really helped him.
We have also just seen a few new people respond to the gospel, one tonight! I am so exited about what God is doing here at the moment, there is definitely a change going on.
Thanks so much to you all for your prayers, and for rejoicing with me. Eastern Europe just needs Jesus so much right now.

Praise God. The devil goes around the world like a lion seeking whom he can devour but God is much more powerful.

I just want to join in Praise to our wonderful loving God because we know He is working in all our difficult situations and He WILL see us through! When we are weak, His strength shines through all the more! The Lamb of God trumps the prowling Devil every time--He will protect His own from being devoured! He is our Rock, our Fort, our mother hen, our anchor. Our Bread, Water and Light in the terrifying darkness.

I am so happy to write this - finally!! We spent our first night in our new home on Sunday. Monday (on my husbands birhday) he received a phone call that a man has looked at our house in Austria several times and has decided to buy it!!
We now hope everything will finally work out. Had to lower the price, will not be left with a fortune, but we can cancle depts in Austria and has some for other needs! Praise God! I often thought that sayings like: "God answers often in the last minute" was a clishe, but this time ist has been so true! Thank you all for praying:-)

Berit,

Praise God. I have often had you in my prayers and knew this would work out for his glory. I take it that there is now room for your growing family.

This is something I did not mention on here, but I have talked to God about it. Two different companies have gotten my credit card number and have charged an amount to it. I called the companies and could not speak to a person. All I got was a voice mail. I called my credit card. I will be getting a different number within a few weeks. Thank you God. Just wanted to share that with you. God is interested in EVERYTHING about us. He is so awesome.

I have a prasie:

This isn't an answer to prayer because I didn't have time to send one.

I was coming home from shopping a little over an hour ago and traveling about 45 mph in pitch black darkness and rain. Traveling over the hill on the other side of town I was passing through a large highway cut where there is nothing to do but stay in your lane.

Out of 'no where' a deer dashed just inches in front of the car. The impack brought me to a complete stop, with the deer flying up and over the car. I found out later that pieces were on both sides of the highway but nobody else was involved even though this was commute traffic time.

The front of the car is badly mangled and looks to be unrepairable, what with everything caved in upon the engine and where the driver side headlight should be there simply is nothing but twisted metal.

The seat belt and air bag did what they are intended to do and I am unhurt. So now all I have to do is calm down a little and figure out what to do for transportation as it was my only car that runs.

I am praising God but not feeling so fearless tonight.

Phil

Oh, Phil--I am so sorry!

Dear Father, please be near Phil and Jan, and please provide transportation for them. Calm Phil's heart and give him peace and confidence. Thank you for your sure provision and for the fact that nothing that happens surprises You. Thank you that you already are orchestrating a solution to this problem. Thank you for sparing his life and for keeping him safe. In Jesus' ame, Amen.

Phil, God did take care of you tonight. Thank you awesome God.
Father in Heaven, you know Phil needs transportation and you know where it is and when he will get it. I thank you that he was not hurt in any way. Be with him and calm him down. Thank you awesome God.
