My son is 4. He is at home resting as comfortable as possible. He had a bad reaction to the anesthesia but the doc says it's all out of his system. He also became dehydrated but once he got past those things they let him come home. His tonsils were far worse than the Dr had originally thought. Thanks for your prayers

Bless his heart. I'll bet you and your wife are resting easier now, too! Those "ectomies" hurt, as I recall...the ice cream was a fun "reward", but the pain sort-of defines my memory!

Glad he's better, Enoch. Praise God.

Praying for your son, Honestwitness. God will walk with you thru this pain--I know how much it must hurt! Praying for strength, peace, comfort and God's closeness as you 'walk thru the fire'.

Praying for your daughter, Believer24/7...that He will provide housing and strength for her & her family.

Praying for your Dad, Asurprise...that God will draw him to Himself.

And Enoch--praying for your little guy--that his healing will be swift since he's had a rough time!

Sorry to hear of your loss, Diana...blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.

Another prayer request. I need new tires and just found out this morning that I have a water leak in my back yard. Don't know how much this will cost me. I know our awesome God is watching over me and knows what I need. I just want to praise Him and tell Him Thank you for all His care and the finances to take care of these things. Oh, I will be needing new brakes soon also.

Thanks Nancy. The fixing of the leak did not cost as much as I thought it would. So I thank our awesome God for that. The repairman came within an hour of when I called the company. Now to take care of the sink and fixtures in my bathroom and the tires and brakes on my car. Thank you God for knowing I need these and for the money to pay for them. Life is good!!!

My husband has been out of work since Nov. 2008. The unemployment issue has gone on for so long now. Please pray for him that he finds a job. We never thought he would be out of work this long. I'm feeling particularly discouraged about it today. I'm trying to praise God and quit feeling sorry for myself but I'm not feeling it yet. I feel so burdened with being the employed one, going to school, having my own job difficulties at a job I dislike (but that's one reason I'm in school).
Thanks for listening and praying!

Please join in a 'prayer shower' for the upcoming FAF weekend, that God will bless it to His glory as healthy doctrine is taught and as we praise Him and come to Him in thankfulness. That the Holy Spirit will speak through the speakers and that He will bring all those whom He knows need to be there.

There are so many SDAs that are miserable in bearing perfectionism, don't really believe the doctrines, yet stay where it's comfortable culturally--they need to hear the real gospel, they need to know they can have salvation thru Christ's sacrifice.

Please pray today for the first meeting Friday night--that the Holy Spirit will strongly convict the pastors in the community to respond to the invitation they received---that they will have a strong desire to come and hear so that they might be able to understand and minister to seeking SDAs that might come to their churches.
