Every Friday evening our group is studying a portion of Galatians. We're having a great time discussing the texts together.

The study sheets and notes are available on this web site. This forum is a place for you to discuss the Galatians study via the internet.

Feel free to post any questions or comments concerning Galatians here.

In Galatians 3:13 it says that Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. What do you think it means "to become a curse?" Is that different from bearing our curse?

Dear Coleen,

What a wonderful thing to get your message inviting me to join in at this former adventist website. It is great to hear that you are studying the book of Galatians. Along with the book of Romans, these two books are the Christians "Declaration of Independence" to the old covenant system of righteousness by works. I have been studying the same book and following the comentaries of Christian men at the bible project web site. What a blessing! For those who would like to get in on these wonderful comments, the website is http://www.egroups.com/group/bibleproject/?fetchForward=08start=306

Please check out this website, I know it will prove a blessing to you (especially if you are a former SDA).

May God Bless all of you as you study His word, and grow in His grace.

In Christ, Ted Lewis

Colleen,

When you access this website, use the back arrow above the subject line until you come to subject message number 294. This is the beginning of the Galatians commentary. I hope you enjoy reading this material as much as I have.

Yours in Christ,

Ted Lewis
