Jude,
Your dream is awesome. Thanks for sharing it with us. This sounds corney but, we kind of are like family (former or burnt out sda's), it is hard for people to understand what we go through unless they have gone through it themselves. Going up against what you have been brought up to believe is "the way" is extremely painful.
Thanks to all who contribute and make the load a little lighter.
God Bless all.

Thank you all, even 156. If I can be of service, I am grateful and credit the Holy Spirit for sending me the dream.

Patti, of course you (or anybody else) may export this to any other website. Credit Jude the Obscure, copyright 2000. That's all.

Grace and peace,

Jude

Hey, Jude..
Don't make it bad...
Take a sad song... and make it bet--tah...

Oh, never mind... Couldn't resist. Sorry. :(

Just thought you would like to see the reaction to your parable on the EGW forum:

"WOW! I hope this Jude is publishing - he's a great writer, and does he ever hit the nail on the head! This is excellent! Perhaps in parable form more will listen and understand...."

Keep up the good work.
Grace and peace to all.

Patti,

What is the EGW forum? Are they pro or Con?
Can you print the link here?

Lynn,
The EGW forum is at the ellenwhite.org site.
Sometimes it's pretty brutal!

Lynn,
Cas is right. It has been brutal. And not all from SDAs either. Right now we really need some new blood there. No, wait a minute! We aren't THAT brutal! How about some new faces, does that sound better?

The website is <Deleted> It is <Deleted>'s website, and it points out many, many errors of Ellen White. The forum is supposed to be for the discussion of Ellen White and SDAism. Unfortunately there are those there who cannot keep from slamming others. When religious beliefs clash, there are a lot of people that are threatened.

The forum itself is <Deleted>
I hang out there a lot because I know just about everyone there. There are some good discussions happening. And some negative. The biggest conflict seems to be over whether or not the moderator has the right to delete posts or ban people who flame or curse others. Yes, we have had some cursing going on. And lots of name calling. Need I explain from which side most of that comes. It seems that some folks cannot discuss theology without taking it very personally when they are disagreed with. There was one man on there a few weeks back who really believed that he no longer sinned. He was banned from the forum a few days later for calling the moderator a--well what SDAs call Protestantism. Is it just me, or does SDAism bring out the crazies??

I got myself in trouble there by trying to defend folks against public slurs. Now I have someone who will not rest until he has trashed me wherever he can trace me.

At any rate, I am hoping things will be more peaceful there now. It is very frustrating to have someone who claims to believe as you do, to come along behind you and negate every word you try to say about the Gospel and salvation by grace.

Anyway, that is probably more than you wanted to hear. Come on over if you wish. The more even tempered people we get there, the more we can "water down" the ones with aggressive behavior.

God bless,
Patti
