I don't know about angel worship, per se, but I do know that Ellen White told us that Jesus and Michael the archangel were one and the same. She did not, however, pursue this to its ultimate end, that Jesus was a created being. I believe she got this notion of Jesus being Michael from the Mormons, who teach that Jesus is a created being just as we are.

I cannot follow through on this investigation, however, because I own not a single "little red book" anymore.

Can someone add some more enlightenment one this topic?

Patti,

If you will use the utility bar and key word search on this site, I think you will find some information that will help. Key in Michael and you should find a discussion in the archives. A while back I had struggle with that subject. I don't believe you will find any 'red book' quotes, this discussion was scriptural. I personally don't have any interest in EGW quotes, many of her comments do not meet the requirements (Phil 4:8) of what we are to focus on as the children of God. You will find in the archives that the Michael/Christ association is linked to Arianism.

God truly blessed me with the answers that he supplied me in my search regarding the Michael /Christ questions.

Hope this information is a what you are looking for.

jtree, sounds like you, like us got rid of the official "red books" only ours were the official "black books". For those who still have them laying around tho, we highly recommend a good ol' book burning. It's very freeing.

Hah...I was given "steps to Christ" I got a set of the "Bible Story" both in Korean and English. The English version cost me .50 at a garage sale. The Korean version my "X"-wife bought because #1 she is Korean #2. She was SDA (A new convert at the time).

Do these qualify as "red books"?

This is a cute one. I have some SDA online "friends" and one of them sent me this web site.
It is quite CUTE. She states her SDA belief. Then uses, http://www.sdaoutreach.org to explain her faith for her.

Here is the web site.

This is quite CUTE...believe me for the laugh.

She states this, then has the picture from SDA outreach below it..

"As for my other beliefs, I am a Seventh-Day Adventist, which means I go to church on Saturday and I believe that the dead are sleeping and know nothing. Here is a link that will tell you more about it."
