By the way I am not to computer smart. Is it
possible for one person to enter this form under
two different names and then start an argument
with yourself?

Bruce, it's time to let it rest.

Patti, go in peace. God be with you.

The SDA-EGW Historical Society

Everyone: Please reread every post from myself and "Patti", and judge (for lack of a better term) for yourself where the problem lies. I think the root of the problem is an inability or unwillingness to forgive mingled with a desire to elevate self above the problem.

Many people proclaim to be Christians and even proclaim the message of the Gospel. However, when it comes right down to the nitty gritty, if we cannot forgive someone for a simple matter of hurting a friends feelings (and that is all we are talking about here) the Gospel is wasted on the one that claims to be saved over a simple matter of forgiveness.

I pray that everyone will forgive me for the times I have stepped on peoples toes, I am truly sorry. I will also grant full pardon to everyone that has ever hurt me. (that is easy, as I do not harbor grudges).

Lynn: Your advice is to go in peace. Better advice would be to forgive and forget. Eternal peace is not possible for those unable to forgive others. Unforgiving people, even those preaching the Gospel, are going to find thenselves with empty lamps on judgement day.

Bruce: It is possible to be several people at once in chat rooms. Almost anything is possible on the net.

Guest Book 'signature'

I have read with great interest many of your comments here on this website in the last few months. I have learned a tremendous amount from your own personal studies that you post here and the questions that you ask to stimulate each other to deeply search the scriptures for truth.

May God bless everyone of you as you continue to grow in Him. Looking forward to growing with you as we learn more about our Saviour and the wonderful messages he has for us in his Word.

Lori

P.S. This is the sort of comments that should appear in this section. --hint, hint, hint--

Someone needed to get us going in the correct direction. Thanks for the nudge.

LYNN

I AGREE IT'S TIME TO LET IT REST, BUT WHAT HAS TO
REST? I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED? HAVE YOU
HEARD THE SAYING HE MADE A MOUNTIAN OUT OF A MOLE
HILL, BUT I DID NOT EVEN SEE THE MOLE HILL. I
GUESS TWO PEOPLE ARE MAKING ACUSATIONS BUT THAY
WONT SAY WHAT THE ACUSATION'S ARE OR WHO SAID IT I
DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS.

That's true, but it wouldn't be proper to explain it. One party wants out. We have to respect that.

Hi Dennis,

How about starting with your testimony. There are plenty of topics started or you can pioneer a new one. I'm sure all of us would love to hear it.

Thank you for this site. It has been very helpful.

I have a few hundred SDA & EGW books. What should I do with them?

Send them to me.
Just kidding.
I keep at least one copy of everything for research and burn the duplicates. That's my little way of making the world a safer place.

Do you have Spirit of Prophecy volumes 1-3, Sons & Daughters of God, or the SDA Study Bible?
I think those books would make my set complete.
Also any obscure books that might not be available at the ABC.
Maybe we could work something out.
Perhaps you could e-mail me with a list.

Hello to all. It is great to see so many who have found the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the "true Sabbath rest" in Him. I am looking for contacts of as many people possible in the Napa Valley, CA, for uniting into a church, similar to DRCC, Grace Place, etc..If any of you could help, I would greatly appreciate it! :-)
Your brother in Christ,

Well, still SDA, we burned the whole stash of books. It was amazing how much of the garbage that had been given to us. We kept a select few of the "revelation seminar" lessons for reference in dealing with SDA's. But the rest, we didn't want laying around for anyone to read! Actually, it was a very freeing experience. Think it would be most excellent for someone who has relied heavily on the writings of EGW to totally cut themselves off so that they would be more or less forced to literally turn to the Bible only, or much more correctly, to the author of the Bible only.

"But the rest, we didn't want laying around for anyone to read!"

This is good advice, especially if you have children. But we don't have children and I sware, we never keep them loaded.

Lynn W: You're pretty ha-ha! Sorry, I don't have those 3 books & don't have a list at this time.

Having a bonfire is tempting.
