Dear George A.,

I'm sure you are a sincere Christian. And so I want to ask you: Why did you begin a new discussion on this website and start it with a post that claims that Gary Sigler's website contains "the deepest truth of God's word"?

George, what you have done is more than just arrogant, errant nonsense. You have gone into comparing gospel-bearers! Worse, you have made inappropriate judgments as to which gospel-bearer has "the deepest truth of God's word"!

I did enter Gary Sigler's website. And I found that it is a good, gospel-centered site with powerful Christian witnessing in many many places. (For example, I rapidly read Sigler's "Gospel of Grace.") But "the deepest truth of God's word"? No! Only the Holy Spirit possesses that!

Furthermore, Sigler's website isn't tailored for Adventists and former Adventists as the FAF website is. Therefore, it doesn't go nearly deep enough for what people who visit this website require.

For example, I did a "Sabbath" word search and found virtually nothing. I did find an article on "tithing," which would be relevant to SDAs and former SDAs, but nothing especially "deep."

So, I ask you, what is your purpose coming onto this website and starting a new discussion kicked off with the kind of statement that you posted?

Sincerely,

Jude
Steve

Hi George A.,

Reading your comment, ". . . deepest truth of God's word, . . . " really will cause some reactions on this website.

Do you realize what you're saying? I checked out a few of the items on the site you recommended. One stands out that would cause problems, not only for Seventh-day Adventists, Former SDAs, but to Christians in general.

It referred to the "Remnant". That is a word loaded with significance (positive and negative) to those associated with SDAism. When I checked that page out, it referred to the Remnant as "not the majority." Not the majority of WHAT? The majority of Christians? The majority of those who say they believe in Jesus Christ (which would include Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims)? Only those with a Fundamentalist Christian position? Only those with the views put forth on that page of the sigler.com website?

I don't know if you realize where you are on the Internet. (Sometimes we "surf" onto beaches with which we're not familiar.) I agree with Jude, above. The Holy Spirit has the deepest truth of God's word. And that deepest truth is Jesus Christ Himself. Nothing else. No one else. No place else.

For those who have been deceived, saying that a human, or human organization is that repository is next to blasphemy.

What, exactly, do you mean by ". . . deepest truth of God's word . . ."?

In Him Who is the Deepest Truth,

Steve
