Do not go gentle into SDA night. Rage, rage against the dying of the gospel light.

The first angels message which can be found in Revelation 14:6,7 is a clarion call to ALL who dwell on the earth to understand that GOD has a judgement going on, even as we speak. (Notice the text says IS come, not has come, or will come!) The message or clarion call to ALL is to get back to honoring and giving glory and worship to GOD. Which GOD you may ask - according to the text -the GOD of creation! The GOD who created all things and because of creation deserves our Worship! Now I ask how do I show my allegiance to this GOD of creation? By restoring or bringing back to pre-eminence the sign or memorial HE left of HIS creative powers! I ask you intelligent people, what did GOD leave us as a sign of HIS creative powers - you guessed it the SABBATH! - (See Genesis 2:1-3) What is it that all the world has forgotten to uphold in honor of HIS creative powers! Right again - The SABBATH! Isn't it interesting that the words from this message are almost identical to the words found in EXODUS 20:8-11? And that it is the only commandment in which the Almighty (who wrote them with HIS own finger) tells us to Remember? Friends time is too short to playing with twisting scriptures, and remember the book of Revelation starts by saying (in chapter 1 verse 3) God will Bless those who hear, read and KEEP those things written therein, for the time is at hand!!! How readeth thou?

Greetings to you, Just Thought You Should Know!

Did you know that your interpretation of Revelation 14:6-7 OMITTED the most important part of the text?

Here it is: The First Angel "had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth."

This is an indictment. What say you in your own defense?

Praying for you,

Max

Hi Just thought you should know.

Identical to the words found in EXODUS 20:8-11
Are the words in Colossians 2:16, The Sabbath from MT. Sinai, is a shadow, the reality is Christ.

How readeth thou any differantly than what is written and understood?

My name is Joshua

Hi Max, The gospel? I really thought that since you guys are running this forum you knew what it was! But here goes - the gospel is the good news that JESUS Has died for the whole world and that salvation is available to ALL! While it is available to ALL why are we told that so few will be saved? What determines who will be saved? JESUS and HIS FATHER GOD are investigating the records (of our lives) as we speak to see who has accepted the FREE gift and who hasn't. The fact is that we are (the angels are symbolic since the gospel has not been given to literal angels but to every man, woman, boy and girl) to tell everyone (with a loud voice) this "investigation" is going on right now and we need to worship the creator and how do we worship the creator by looking for and finding what sign the Creator left for us to remember HIM by. (See Genesis 2:1-3) Then loving HIM enough to do as HE says! (See Matthew 7:20-23) Thanks for your prayers! I will do likewise!

Dear "Thought You Should Know!"

You wrote, ^^ JESUS and HIS FATHER GOD are investigating the records (of our lives) as we speak to see who has accepted the FREE gift and who hasn't. ^^

Can you prove that from the Bible alone?

Dear "Thought You Should Know!"

I'm referring to that part of your presentation which asserts specifically, ^^ this "investigation" is going on right now. ^^

There is not one shred of scriptural evidence that this is the case. All scriptural evidence says that the only judgment was the judgment of Jesus 1970 years ago, and that judgment is the only one before the final judgment.

Can you -- using the Bible and the Bible only -- show us otherwise?

Hi Joshua,

Just happened to stumble upon Colossians 2:16 and was shocked to see what I found - Here it is word for word! (KJV) "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days": {in meatÖ: or, for eating and drinking} {respect: or, part} Let me start by telling you I judge no man, period, for only GOD can know the heart! These words are surprisingly similar to those found in Leviticus 23.) (I want you to notice that here Paul says that no man should judge another on several items lastly he mentions "sabbath days", notice the word "sabbath days" not the "Sabbath Day", this is interesting for we are told in Leviticus 23 that Moses was to tell the children of Isreal, that God had set aside special feasts or "sabbath days" which they were to keep to remind them that HE had rescued them from bondage. Certain days in certain months were to be special "sabbath days" of rest and celebration. These were above and beyond the weekly Sabbath, (every seventh day where they were to remember their Creator!) We can not confuse "sabbath days" with "the" Sabbath day! They were a shadow for they reminded them that the Messiah was to come and rescue them from the bondage of sin. When HE did, HE would be thier "Passover", HE would be their "Offering", HE would be their reason for blowing "Trumpets" and praising HIS name! There is a difference between saying the fourteen day of such and such month shall be a holy day, each year that day would fall on a different day, for instance the seventh of July is on a Friday this year, it so happens that next year it falls on a Saturday, just like Thanksgiving it is the fourth Thursday of November, each year it falls on a different day. Last year it was on the 27th, this year it will be on the 28th, but "the sabbath day" is the same every week, every year the seventh-day just like GOD said! Two totally different kinds of days, one a date in time, another a date with GOD! Interesting that GOD says in Isaiah 66:22,23 in the new heaven we will still keep HIS holy Sabbath day, yet HE did away with it here on sinful earth? What kind of GOD keeps changing HIS mind and not being sure of what HE wants us to do? That's not the kind of GOD I serve, my GOD doesn't have to change, HE doesn't get caught off guard by surprise! My GOD gets it right the first time and every time, HE makes no mistakes! HE'S GOD! Oh yeah! I didn't see the resemblance between Colossians 2:16 and Exodus 20:8-11 can you help me? Thanks and keep praying for me as I for you!

Dear "Thought You Should Know (TYSK)!"

Are you sure you know the Scriptures? You said you "stumbled" across Colossians 2:16-17! Here is the full text of those two verses (NIV):

^^ Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what youeat or drinnk, or with regard to a religious festival [YEARLY Sabbath], a New Moon Celebration [MONTHLY Sabbath!], or a Sabbath day [WEEKLY Sabbath]. These [all together: yearly, monthly and weekly] are a SHADOW of the things that were to come; the REALITY, however, is found in Christ. ^^

Under your interpretation there would be TWO mentions of the YEARLY Sabbath in the same sentence. Redundant. Less-than-stellar exegesis, TYSK.

Even your own SDA Sabbath specialist, Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi of Andrews Univeristy, admits that this is the case this in his scholarly work FROM SABBATH TO SUNDAY (FSTS) under the heading "The Sabbath in Colossians 2:16," pages 358-360.

Here is an excerpt: ^^ These indications compellingly show that the word "sabbaton" as used in Colossians 2:16 [and translated "a Sabbath day"] CANNOT refer to any of the annual ceremonial sabbaths. ^^ Bacchiocchi, FSTS, p. 360.

The 24-hour, weekly Sabbath rest was but a shadow pointing to the eternal Sabbath rest in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 3&4).

Resting in Him alone,

Max
