Allenette, It's so hard dealing with the guilt of sin. I think that was one of the heaviest burdens I had to live with for many years. Sda's really lay it on thick! I'm 4th generation, and I know exactly what you mean. I couldn't go to a movie without worrying or eat a steak without wondering. I'd often try to recall my sins and hoped that I'd confessed them all. I lived in constant fear that I wouldn't be saved.
But what joy I found in Christ Jesus! He forgives all my sins (past, present, and future). Sure I have to confess, but my salvation is guaranteed! He doesn't take it back. It's ours for good!!!
I guess since I've found this peace, I don't seem to strugle with these things. It's like the weight has been lifted and thrown away forever. I do remember things, but I can laugh now.
I'm glad you can laugh too. But it's also o.k. to cry. It's nice your're sharing. I think this forum is great therapy. I hope you will continue to give input.
Sorry this isn't really on the subject. I just wanted to respond to allenette and let her know I'm praying for her. God bless!

SUSAN: Well, dont worry about it. I'm fine...it just looked like someone was trying to take the edge off the last two posts. :-) And I thought they made valid humanisitic points. You can even direct your prayers more towards say, Turkey, Taiwan, or even Bosnia if you like, or Cheknea (sp?) since Russia is amassing troops on the border and they need something to do. I'll understand. :-) Since the hurricane has passed, perhaps we should direct the Almighty's attention towards more devastations needing "miracles".

BTW, if my lack of warm and fuzziness gets too grating, just say so. (warm and fuzzzily of course)..... :-)

Allenette :-)

All the world disasters are important. Of course prayers should go up for those people whose lives have been so devastated. But you know what Allenette, your soul is just as important to God as those tragic problems. It's also important to me and I'll keep praying for you no matter what. If you were the only one, Jesus would've died for just you! He really would have. His love for you is so amazing. I WILL be praying for you. Love, Susan
