Dear Adventist Friend:

IS EGW REALLY "THE LESSER LIGHT LEADING TO THE GREATER LIGHT"?

Ever try to find the SUN by using a FLASHLIGHT?

Why don't you think about that for a spell and then get back to me?

Patiently awaiting your response,

Jude

Jude

And it get better because the Lesser Light
actually defines and tells us what to think about
the Greater Light. You would think or hope that
Adventist would turn them around but if you do
that you see that the lesser light is no light at
all but in fact darkness.

How about this.

Why dont Adventist make the Lesser Light a
Brighter Light and add it to the Bible.

Why did God choose to use the greater lights of
the Old Covenant or Testamnet like
greater light-Samuel, greater light-Job, greater
light-David, greater light-Ezekiel, greater
light-Jonah, greater light-Nahum, and the greater
lights of the New Covenant (TESTAMENT) Matthew,
greater light-John, greater light-Paul, greater
light-James, greater light-Luke.
Now after using the greater Lights God
decides, let me put away the greater light and let
me use the small itty bitty lesser light, you
know the lesser light that need to steel or copy
from even lesser and lesser lights. Or why did
God use the lesser light that uses false prophecy
candels or contradition Lamps, or legalistic glow
sticks, or blame God for my mistake pen lights.

When God did such a beautiful Job on his first two
books why did he cut corners for his grand
finally.
Could it be that maybe it is not his!!!!!!!!!!

Bruce, I'm hurt. You said, "greater light-John, greater light-Paul, greater light-James, greater light-Luke...." But you DIDN'T say, "greater light-Jude!" Just kidding. Yours was still another great post. And I agree 100%. -Jude

Dear Jude the Obscue. I am sure I know who you are but will not reveal it. You are educated well Above what you are posting on former Adventist com. You have a Ph.D. in theology or something close.
I sure wish that with all of your inside information you would write some good articles Against EGW and post them on http://www.ellenwhite.org. I'm sure Dirk Anderson would welcome them with open arms. Wasn't former SDA Pastor Bruce Weaver, the writer of "The Arrest and Trial of Israel Dammon," one of your students?
Haven't you taught clases in a major SDA University for some time, and have proofed some of DES Ford's papers?
just checking.

Dear Ray Pitts and others,

To respond to queries, conjectures, speculations and guesses about the real identity of Jude the Obscure, allow me to explain in the best way I know how. So why donít you read the following and try to piece out just exactly who I am.

Remember the Junior Camp campfire song, ìMy Homeís in Heavenî? Iíll try my memory by typing it out. Meanwhile, why don't you hum along:

My homeís in heaven
Just awaitiní for me,
And when I get there
Oh, how happy Iíll be.

My homeís in heaven,
The rent is free,
For Jesus paid it
On Calvary

Well, I want to challenge that song just a little bit. For as far as I am concerned, although your home may be in heaven, the bottom line is still on earth!

Meaning, if your life is so attuned to heaven above that you feel your life on earth here and now doesnít matter and is of no consequence, then, my friend, your home may be somewhere else, but itís NOT in heaven!

Meaning, what do YOU do with Jesus Christís statement recorded in Luke 17:20-21 NIV?

ìThe kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ëHere it is,í or ëThere it is,í because the kingdom of God is within you.î

Come on, my ìIím just a stranger here, heaven is my homeî friend, exactly WHAT do you do with that statement?

If your homeís in heaven, then what should your BEHAVIOR be while youíre still on earth? Or is your BEHAVIOR no longer the bottom line, if it ever was?

And it may not be, at least not within the ranks of church employees top to bottom. Plus those otherwise economically dependent on the church. Such as physicians who owe their medical education to Loma Linda University and their clientele, to some considerable extent, to church-going SDAs of all stripes.

Dear SDA lay people, the reason why I could not ìsurviveî a lifetime of SDA employment is very simple: I refused to give in to the system: a system that requires you to sell your soul to the devil.

Why, watever do I mean?

Let me illustrate: I have a best friend ñ Iíll call him Keith -- in the hierarchy whom Iíve known for about thirty-five years. Way back in seminary we knew the church was corrupt and we set out to reform it in our careers. We called it ìthe soft revolution.î

Well, it was this friend, Keith, who, about ten years ago ñ when he was in ìhot waterî with his superiors ñ told me: When youíre in a tight spot, Jude, LIE!

My friend Keith, who was in hot water with his superiors in the hierarchy said on another occasion, ìWe [meaning the reformers, the soft-revolutionists] are in bed with them.î Meaning we have to cooperate with them in order to survive. Thatís when I knew that the watchword ìsurvivalî had replaced the watchword ìintegrityî for Keith.

Thatís when I knew he had sold out. Well, it worked for him, and he became a high executive in an SDA owned business with assets in the many billions of dollars.

About twenty years earlier I asked my employer, the president of a large and then-but-not-now-successful church owned business, who had asked me to lie in court, how an ordained church minister could do/ask such a thing. He looked me straight in the eye and said, ìWhen a fella [meaning himself] gets under enough pressure, heíll lie.î

At my last position within an SDA owned business, I was placed in charge of producing a product that had bi-monthly sales of 5.5 million. After four years on the job, under my leadership bi-monthly sales had risen to 8.0 million. But I didnít play politics with my superior, a VP who was claiming credit for the success my product was generating. When a new president was installed who knew not Joseph, the VP prevailed on him to ask me to step aside and continue in an advisory capacity, personal advisor to the very VP who wanted the credit. And my assistant was elevated to my position as product manager.

Under his leadership, within one year bi-monthly sales had plummeted right back down to 5.5 million, while my advice to the credit-starved VP was being routinely ignored. Thatís when I told my long-time friend Keith about it ñ that under me sales had risen from 5.5 million to 8.0 million, and had dropped back down to 5.5 million under my successor within 12 months.

Keithís reply? ìWell, you didnít expect them [meaning top management] to ADMIT that, did you?î

I was too stunned to answer. I still havenít answered. Our friendship has deteriorated in the two years since that conversation.

And now Iím looking to surround myself with trustworthy, Christian people saved by grace whose BEHAVIOR indicates that their home is right down here on earth, where the kingdom of heaven is within them.

And, incidentally, I should tell you that Keithís job as a high executive in this multi-billion dollar ìreligiousî business is to be responsible for the spiritual welfare of the employees.

Yes!

And so, my dear Adventist and former Adventist friends, do you think you can now figure out who I really am?

Well, Iím here to tell you that it is Godís will that WILL be done. And all I ñ and YOU, for that matter ñ can do about it is to pray that you submit yourself to it on a daily basis.

In faith alone, grace alone, and Christ alone,

Jude

We have known who you are from the very beginning. Ray just said what others felt. So you are a high mucky muck -- That's just fine with us. So long as you remember not so much where you are as where you are going.

High Q,

Sorry, but I know only where I am. I don't know where I'm going. I used to think God was LEADING me. Now I think he's been DRIVING me. His purposes for me may be unclear, but . . . . .

"I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste. He has taken me to the banquet hall, and his banner over me is love." --Song of Songs 2:3-4 NIV

Fearing not,

Jude
