Hi Y'all,

How about let's share some cool little things we've learned over the years. Even if they are common to us or people we know, there are little things we do that others could benefit from.

One thing I learned during my move was that when ALL my pillow cases vanished in boxes SOMEWHERE, a T-shirt works just great and even feels nicer on your cheek than a regular pillow case!

Something that kept me going while I was working when my radio, that was plugged into a cigarette lighter, quit because of the fuse burning out was a gum wrapper. Just pull out the fuse and carefully peel the foil off the gum wrapper paper (or plain thin tin foil)and wrap it around the fuse`so both ends are covered and connected and replace fuse! Presto....a hotwired/hotfoiled radio that works!;-))

Anybody got more littles "helps?"

Here another helpful hint:
Do you enjoy books? I know that I sure do. Do you enjoy your paperwork in an organized manner? Yes, I do too. Do you take joy in watching your houseplant flourish due to the nutrients that you discovered while in Wal-Mart? Or how about your pet cat? Don't ya just love it when they sit on your lap and purr or do their cute little peeps at ya just to say hello. Yes, I concur, these are all nice things to enjoy.
Since we all agree that books, organized paperwork, well nourished plants and pet cats can be wonderful gifts in our lives, I have a few helpful handy household hints:

1- When that cute 'pet cat' does more than peep at ya, pay attention to the cat. They have a way of getting your attention and all those books on the bookshelf, all your organized paperwork and your beautiful nourished houseplants can so quickly turn to choas that it's unbelievable! So helpful hint #1-remember to give that *&^$%# cat some attention!

Okay, on to helpful handy household hint #2:
If you decide to ignore helpful hint #1, I would suggest that rather than reading the book '101 uses for a dead cat', you hire a maid. This saves alot of crying and anguish over all the work you put into your organized paperwork, houseplants, putting of your books in order on the bookshelves etc., not to mention monies that it takes to buy the book. With one low cost you can get all things back to their original state and use the time you would have used in reading the book into studying Scripture, paying ALOT of attention to the cat, going online, watching a television program, and much much more.

Well, that's my helpful hint and I hope this will be beneficial to all that have had such an experience.
God Bless,
Denisethecatisrunningmylifelady! :)
BTW..his name is Daniel and he is adorable.
