Hey, Bruce; Thanks for printing that list of Names & definitions. I heard that in a sermon years ago & I've been trying to get a copy of ever since. I even prayed about it so I could use it in some articles I'm writing. I added these definitions from a book I have.
Enoch - dedicated, teaching
Noah - rest, comfort
Shem - name
Ham - tumult, he raged
Japheth - let him spread out, enlarge

This is what I came up with:
MAN is APPOINTED unto death (MORTAL) - Heb. 9:27. SORROW is continually before him - Ps. 38:17. THE BLESSED GOD SHALL COME DOWN DEDICATED to TEACHING. HIS DEATH SHALL BRING THE DESPAIRING REST and COMFORT. His NAME shall bring a TUMULT - Zech 14:13. But His kingdom shall SPREAD OUT and ENLARGE - Acts 8:4.

If anyone out there has a better version, please post it. I'm always open to suggestions.
Lynn

Bruce; that is amazing insight on the tribes. I didn't realize that "they could only camp as wide as the area set aside for the Levites, with the resulting lengths proportional to their numbers."
It looks like the nation of Israel was one hugh cross moving across the dessert.

Alternate version of "Names"
"The man of SORROWS (Isa. 53:3), THE BLESSED GOD SHALL COME DOWN..."
