OK, let me see if I have this straight... I have to perfect my character to the point where I can stand before God without a mediator and thus demonstrate before the entire world that God's law can be kept. Um... Wasn't that Jesus' job? Didn't He already DO that 2,000 years ago expressly because I cannot? And I have one other question. When I do get perfect, where is there any longer the need for Grace? The need for a Savior? God led me here, you guys, and I'm not leaving!

Freeatlast,
LOL, you know, im not even an SDA, but when i was researching, i thought the exact same thing. You are completely on the right track, and I love the way you put that. Sad thing is, SDA's really believe that to be true, and then say salvation is completely by grace. If the investigative judgment is true, there is no need for grace. and if the sabbath is the final test of time, then there is no need for Jesus!

Dear Free,
When you put it like that I want to bury my head in shame to think I was so deceived. Then on the other hand I want to slap them up side the head for not seeing the light. This has got to be one of the most frustrating places to be. Knowing the truth and unable to show it to others.

But you know, when I was rejected by the church for standing up to them it hurt, but now as I look back I should give them a big kiss. For had they not of rejected me so badly I may of slipped back into Adventism and the I really would of been lost.
