Every Friday evening we start our FAF meeting by going around the circle and praising God for something that happened that week. We've also started referring back to the issues we've prayed about in our meeting and recorded in journals, and we've seen significant things happening in our lives because of God's faithfulness.

Even though we can't sit in a circle and share, why don't we praise God for his blessings in our lives?

I am praising God for the people he has sent into our lives that were clearly by divine appointment. There are people from this forum and people God has placed in our path that I know God has sent because he knew we needed prayer and encouragement. Sometimes when I look back I realize that I was often not aware of things going on for which I needed spritual protection, and God has sent people to pray for me and for our family before I realized we needed prayer.

I also praise him for protecting and blessing Richard at his work. In addition, I'm praising him for sending some good friends and mentors into my sons' lives. (I've prayed for years for God to send his appointed people into their lives, and He is so faithfully answering those requests!)

I am so thankful that the way we protect ourselves from Satan's schemes is not clever fighting or strategy, but it's nurturing a relationship with Jesus. He protects us. The work is His!

I praise Him for caring for us in ways we would never imagine or even know we needed.

And I praise God for all of you! We pray every day (often several times a day!) that the Holy Spirit will be present in this website and that all who come here will be blessed by his truth, peace, and support. Praise God for being here!

I praise God for the results of the servant evangelism outreach our church did last Saturday. Truly it was his direction that made it all come together since we were so clueless during the planning stage. It is a privilege to be used by God in such a simple way to touch lives with a simple demonstration of His love and compassion.

It's just such an amazing thing to stand back and realize that he arranges times of divine appointment every day just to reach out and touch people who are in need. It is always a reminder to me that He is not just the God who provided for our salvation, but also the loving Father who is intimately involved in everything that happens in our lives. But it also makes me wonder just how many opportunities we pass up because of our being distracted or too busy to listen to His promptings. And how many times may we fail to hear Him speaking because we are hustling around doing our stuff and forgetting to listen.

I praise Him too for His faithfulness to answer our questions. And to guide us in our studies. It's amazing to me to see the number of ways he finds to speak to us and confirm what He is saying. From the more blatant ways to the very subtle ones.

Or as a new member of our chuch asked with a trace of irritation one day, "I just want to know one thing. Just how often does that preacher preach directly at someone?" And then immediately he got a puzzled frown on his face and muttered, "but how could he have possibly known about THAT?" ha!

I praise God for having His hand on my family's life everyday. For the hedge of protection that is so evidently around us. Our town was so severly flooded last week that school was shut down for 2 1/2 days, however, not one pool of water adversely affected our home. Tornados, headed straight towards us, have missed us 3 times.

I also want to praise Him for entrusting me with the many e-mails I receive as a result of posting my testimony with my e-address, and thank Him for the interpretation of my dream of Mark 4 to sow the Word.

Also, for the many blessings we have as Americans to be free, safe, fed and sheltered.

Glory to God, we lift your name, Lord and honor You.

And I too will add my voice in Praising our Great and Mighty God!

There is never a time that we are alone because He is always with us.

There is never a time that He doesn't hear our hearts when we haven't the words to say.

There is never a time when His Wonderful Love and Faithfulness is removed from us.

There is never a time that when our inmost self will begin to murmur or doubt that He doesn't Confort or Counsel and bring to our minds His Gracious and Most Powerful Word to the attention of our hearts.

There is never a situation where He hasn't already made a way out of no way. And this! before we even knew we were in the situation.

Yes, amazing Grace indeed!

For in Him we have all blessings, including waking up this day.

Praise our Mighty King, our Everlasting Father, our Eternal Redeemer, our very Joy of joys and our most Blessed Hope.

For Jesus loves me this I know...(singing again)

I Praise Him in the morning, I'll Praise Him at the noon, I'll Praise and shout His Victory on Calvary He won!

I'll sing a song or many songs to my Lord and God. For it is Him who gave to me songs to sing to Him in love.

I love Him so. amen forever.

Even so, Come Lord Jesus!

Isn't it just an exciting thing to think that we shall meet Him face to face!! Oh, what a day!

What a multitude of peoples we shall be singing and shouting and praising and worshipping our Majestic King, Husband, our Savior Jesus Christ, the Living and Loving God of ours with!

Yes, I get excited and I'm not one bit ashamed of this matter for I can think of nothing better to get excited about. Could anyone?? I should hope not!

Let us all also pray for this website that our Wonderful Lord has provided and so His will, will be done. amen.

May Our Great Jesus the Christ, the lamb of God who died for us all, Bless you all and your households. amen.

He is Love and He is Life.....HE IS!!

He IS my ALL IN ALL!

Praise the Lord for all you wonderful Mothers out there, who fear the Lord (you know the verse "Charm is deceiptful, beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised"! Happy Mother's Day to you!

The opinions of others matters not. The opinion of God is the only one that matters. :)

We had Kelly Green at church Sunday and his testimony is awesome and funny. He was a mormon for some time and different things, lots going on in his testimony, but I was praying for some lost friends to come.

4 of them came and one says she will come back next week, she really liked the church and one got saved! It was my husband's buddy, he is addicted to the pills too, so I'm hoping they help eachother. I had invited him to church a lot and he always said the church would fall in but this time he agreed.

The testimony was very long and he (Ricky's friend) listened to every word and when they called for the invitation it was no emotional blah blah word. This guy was plain and serious. He described exactly what they were signing up for, and said not to come unless you were serious.

Well, he was about the first one out of the pew! It was really awesome and he looked so different after we got him back from the counseling room.

There were a lot of salvations, it was a great day! :-)

Can I get a witness? Does anybody here wanna testify? Stand and tell what Jesus Christ has done for you in days gone by?

That is a song we sing in choir and I have a PRAISE REPORT!!!!!!!!!

Sunday night we had Holy Communion at church. The sermon was on healing and someone sang a song on healing and my husband went out to the restroom before she started. She messed up big time, forgot the words---this is one of our professional singers there--anywho, she said "we have to start over, someone needs to hear this song."

My husband doesn't like to hear her sing, she is very theatrical etc and she sort embarrases me too, but this song, oh my goodness, "The Healer's in the House"

She started out with her regular theatrics, (she tries too hard--bless her Jesus) and when she messed up she just propped up on the podium and sang the song without the usual drama and actually did a lot better.

There is a point!

The song was for my husband, it is about God's miracle working power to heal and deliver.

Later, the pastor said he felt like they should have a healing line (or several) for anyone that wanted prayer for anything. All of the deacons gathered all around the sanctuary and a LOT of people went for prayer.

My husband grabbed my hand and went up from in a big hurry.

The deacon asked, "Son, what do you need prayer for?" and my husband just stood there. He asked again and my husband (his name is Ricky, BTW) just broke down crying like a baby.

He told the man about his leg, that he had knee surgery and has a lot of trouble with his leg and went all into that, then he finally said he was taking Lortabs for the pain.

The deacon said, I'll pray for your leg. Looked at me and I shook my head no. Then he said, "I'm understanding you have an addiction to the pain medication, is that right?"

More crying, "yes" the man prayed for him, an I'll tell you the POWER of God almost knocked me down. He prayed, looked him in the eye and said, it is over, you are no longer addicted to pain medicine, you do not need to take another pill, you are delivered and it is done.

Later the pastor said, "there is someone here who the Lord is telling me you have messed up and you have tried to fix it yourself and you can't and now you just have to let go and "start over" just like the song. Am I speaking to someone? Does someone feel like this word is just for them, hold you hand up" Ricky raised his hand and the pastor looked right at him.

That I know of, my husband has only taken 1 since then and it made him sick at his stomach to the point that he said he didn't want to take anymore.

Please pray for wisdom for my husband, that he will continue in this path and not get side-tracked.

There is a lot more, but I'll just say, God is really working over here in this house!

Praise His Holy Name!!

Sabra, that's incredible. I'm also praising God as I'm starting to see some "rewards" for all I've been through...not with B unfortunately, but with some younger Christians around me who are asking about why we don't worship on Saturday and what happens to us at death ... because of the study I've done on these topics, I've been able to provide some good scriptural answers to the point they've asked about our small group doing a Bible study on these topics once the 40-days campaign has completed so we can understand completely what the Bible says about these topics. It's nice to sense purpose in life.

Sabra, Praise God!! I'll continue to pray for Ricky--God is faithful!

Melissa, I'm excited for you. I really believe that God in His sovereignty brings certain Christians to a deep, Biblical understanding of Adventism (as well as the other cults) because He will use them in unique ways. Your experience and study has prepared you for certain types of witnessing and mentoring that a even a former cannot do. Praise God for His leading! I continue to pray for you!

Thank you for all of your prayers!

God is wonderful.

Sabra that is so awesome! Isn't it amazing to see breakthroughs like that. God is awesome.

Now let me strongly encourage you to PRAY for him like you have never prayed before. Maybe you already have past experience to clue you in, but when anyone has a major breakthrough like this the enemy ALWAYS is going to try to hit them again to take back the ground that was lost. No need to be fearful at all, just alert and active in prayer, and cooperative with God's promptings for you in case there is anything He wants you doing now while your hubby is learning a new life.
