It's our human nature to want to stop something we see is wrong, especially when it comes to the truth of Jesus Christ. I think we all pretty well know of the examples in the NT of others preaching and baptizing, apart from those in direct fellowship with Christ and the apostles. It's frustrating when we see truth mixed with error. Sometimes I just think I should run over to nearest store and scream "DECEPTION", when the books hit the racks. Maybe God wants me to, maybe he doesn't. I don't know. You know that's the way I felt when I was in the "truth" before. It's a battle that has raged on since the beginning of time and will continue until Jesus comes. All things work for the good to those who are in Christ Jesus.

Hi Friends,
I prayed as I answered the short e-mail to me from Amazing Facts(lies??). This is what I received. My e-mail is below this one. I have not checked out the website recommended, but I can imagine what I will find.
Again, I say, who knows what seed has been planted and who will respond.
You know, this is the first time I have stood up for God in something that has to do with the Bible and the truth. The whole time I was an SDA I never did a thing. I could not and used to condemn myself. Now that I know the truth it is much easier. I did pray a lot as I wrote the e-mail.
God gets more awesome every day.

Dear Mr. Batchelor:

I find it very hard to believe that any one would encourage anyone else to read anything by EGWhite. I am sure you have seen the proof that she is a false prophet, that she plagairized and had others help her write her books. That is not being inspired by God. All one has to do is get
on the internet and find the web sites about the plagiarism of Mrs.White. There is even a book about it, which I have not read. But I have
read all the web sites about her plagiarism. This is something that I do not understand. I will pray for you, that God will open your eyes.

I went to the ellen-white.org web site and it was as I suspected. It quoted what she wrote, the Bible contradiction, what the Bible says and under that is written that in other places she agreed with the Bible and quoted it. Don't they see the inconsistency??? If a person is inspired by God, they are going to be consistent in what they say/write.
I feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall and I am not into self punishment, so I will stop. I will let God take care of it.

I so understand, Diana. Hitting your head against a brick wall is a great analogy.

God, thankfully, isn't limited by brick walls.

I went to that ellen-white website as well. How can they not see that her writings are not lining up with the Bible when they are showing error after error proving her statements to be wrong, and yet they still regard her as a prophet? I don't think we are the ones who need to have our heads hitting a wall, they do...to knock some sense into them.

At times, I would like to knock some heads together, and not to knock some sense into them. Especially those who are in leadership positions. I just want to knock them together because they are teaching error and are not doing anything to get rid of the error. I have to remember that God will get revenge and not me. But my human side would enjoy knocking those heads together for a while. This is a feeling only and I do not have to act on it. Thank God for that.
I just needed to express the frustration and anger I feel for those who are leading others and not teaching them about Christ.
God is truly awesome and He WILL TAKE CARE OF IT.

Colleen,
Amen to hitting the heads together or that God will take care of it, or both??
It is so good to be able to express my frustration here and be understood.

Oh, I like you Colleen. I can just picture you knocking two persons heads together. You have such a peacful face in your photo in Proclamation.
Now me, I am Latin and your have heard of Latin tempers. That can be me. Thank God we do not have to do that. God does a much better job of knocking heads together then I ever could. Every so often my human side comes out.
God is so awesome.

Perhaps Colleentinker and Flyinglady should host a SDA Headbangers Ball! I'd gladly pay to see that one on pay-per-view.

Roller Derby is making a comeback. I'd pay to see the SDA Headbangers Ball on wheels.

In order to avoid any bloodshed, perhaps we could go the way of using clay animation like they did on MTV's Celebrity Smackdown. First up: EGW vs. Joseph Smith! Clash of the Cults!

Speekin of clay animation-I love watching Crank Yankers. It's one of my favorite programs. You can catch it on Commedy Central.

Pw, That sounds good to me. Now, who knows how to do the animation??? I have no artistic talent.

Perhaps we could get "Clay" Atkins to sing the theme song for the show.
