The address posted on Dirk Andersons site is:
Calvary Chapel
200 West Park Row
Arlington, Texas, USA

Phone: 817-903-6731

He has a map and all posted too if you want to look at it. Oh how I wish we could come!

I also will miss being there. Let's pray that this conference will be a great strength and blessing to all attendees.

I truly believe that we all will be there "in spirit". The theme is right, "We are NOT alone"! Where two are more are gathered ...

I agree--we are not alone! One specific thing that we can pray for is that many people will come to understand the reality of the New Covenant. Dale Ratzlaff will be offering advance sales at this conference for the Spanish version of Sabbath in Christ. The book is currently at the press, and there is a HUGE audience for it. Both Spanish and Protugese-speaking Adventists and former SDAs have had a dearth of material available for them, and there is an actively growing groundswell of people from Spansh-speaking churches beginning to discover the gospel and to have questions, both in the SW part of the USA and also in Mexico and South America.

At the last church board meeting where yet another person asked to have their membership withdrawn (so my mole says) this was the reaction.

The local pastor brought up Dale Raztlaff and said something like, "There's a group of people who believe as he does, and they want to make you think there are thousands of others who do as well. But that's not the case."

I beg to differ. I think there are many many many who have found Christ and believe the New Covenant message. What do you all think? And, since when has the most popular (or believed by the largest amount of people) message indicate which is the "right" message to believe?

I agree also that we are not alone. And more are finding out about the truth of the Bible and how EGW and the SDAs have distorted the truth.
I am glad our Spanish and Portuguese speaking brethren are finding God also and learning the truth of the New Covenant.
Praise God. He is AWESOME.

I have a very special prayer request. It is for a lady friend of mine by the name of Yvonne. When I first met her, she was 5th in line for a kidney transplant. She is now 2nd in line. But she just found out recently that she has some blocked blood vessels to her heart and that needs to be taken care of before she can have a kidney transplant. She is discouraged. Please pray for her. I will be seeing her Saturday. She is a Christian and believes in God, but cannot understand why she is going through all this. I do not know what to tell her, except that God loves her and he is beside her. She does not attend church regularly so I asked her if it was okay if I told one of the ministers, from the church I attend, about her and have him go visit her. She agreed to that. I tell her about Job. But I know that she is just not doing well at this time. I told her I had a network of friends who would pray for her and she likes that. She does not mind my asking all of you to pray for her. So thank all of you lovely people for praying for Yvonne.
Pray for her husband as well, as he is going through a hard time because of all her problems.
Thanks for your prayers.
God is so awesome. All of you out there in cyberland are awesome also.
Diana

Diana,

Please tell Yvonne that this is not unusual. Persons on transplant lists have such situations often. I was taken off of the list because of block arteries in my neck. The procedure took a morning and I was back on the list in a month, and was transplanted two months later. I have a friend who was on the list for 14 years! She is young. She had two strokes before geting her kidney and is doing outstandingly well.

Tell her to keep the faith! She will get her kidney and she will find that life is a whole lot better, post transplant. Believe me, she is better off that they have found the situation, now!

I would be happy tos communicate with her, if it would help.

In His Service

Thomas, I thank you for telling us about your transplant and your blocked arteries in your neck.
God has really taken care of you. He has a very special job for you with your witness about how he has taken care of you. I pray God continues to bless you as you fulfill his reason for being here.

Thomas, I spoke to Yvonne and she would like to communicate with you. She does not have a computer, so I am bringing her to my house Saturday afternoon and setting up an e-mail address for her here. When that is ready I will leave the address here.
Yvonne was so glad to hear about every ones prayers.
Thank you so much, all of you, for your prayers.

Diana,
I am an "old" ICU nurse. We would recover all the Corotid Endartectomy patients after their surgery (which is what I am assuming the procedure will be). In my 10 years of experience, the Corotid patients never had any trouble. Very easy surgery. The docs like them to recover overnight on the ICU because the patient/nurse ratio is usually 2 to 1. If there is a problem, it needs to be caught right away so the docs want them watched closer than an average post-op patient. Tell her to do some research. A little knowledge is so good to help relieve anxiety.

As far as encouraging her...I am praying for both of you. I like the story of David in 1 Samuel (chapter 16 through to the end of II Sam.). He had such a difficult life - especially before he became king. To know that his life was running from one cave to another fearing for his life and that at the same time he wrote such beautiful Psalms is soothing to my discouraged soul. The fact, too, that he was angery and frustrated at times is helpful. God is in control. Romans 8:28 and James 1: 2,3 are difficult to understand until we have lived enough "hindsights" to see their true meanings.
