Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that Pastor J. Mark Martin (Senior Pastor of Calvary Community Church in Phoenix, former SDA Pastor) is going through the book of Mark and is going to be preaching about the Sabbath this weekend. You can listen or watch live video streaming of the services online. Tell your SDA friends/relatives to tune in if you want.

He preaches the same sermon for 4 services on the weekend (1 Saturday evening service and 3 Sunday morning services). You can listen or watch at http://www.calvaryphx.com. Just click on the "Calvary Live" link on the right, and you can choose to listen to either the dial-up or high-quality audio feeds, or watch live video. The video feed does work with dial-up, although the video is usually still-pictures. If the link is not up on the web site, here is the direct link for the video feed: http://high.calvaryphx.com/live

The service times are as follows. The sermon usually starts about a half hour after the service begins.

Saturday Evening Service:

6 PM Pacific Daylight Time/Arizona Time

7 PM Mountain Daylight Time

8 PM Central Daylight Time

9 PM Eastern Daylight Time

Sunday Services:

1st Service:

7:45 AM Pacific Daylight Time/Arizona Time

8:45 AM Mountain Daylight Time

9:45 AM Central Daylight Time

10:45 AM Eastern Daylight Time

2nd Service:

9:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time/Arizona Time

10:30 AM Mountain Daylight Time

11:30 AM Central Daylight Time

12:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time

3rd Service:

11:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time/Arizona Time

12:30 PM Mountain Daylight Time

1:30 PM Central Daylight Time

2:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time

(Note: The service times will be 1 hour earlier in Daylight Saving Time-observing areas, starting October 31 when Daylight Saving Time ends.)

The sermon will also be available for audio streaming online after next weekend at their Resource Ministry web site.

Pastor Mark's sermon last weekend was also very good, and he talked about the Old and New Covenants. You can listen online here. Just click on "Listen to Resource."

Jeremy,

Many thanks for the information regarding Pastor Mark Martin's upcoming sermon on the Sabbath this weekend. I listened to his excellent sermon titled "NOT REPAIRED, BUT REPLACED!" (about the New Covenant). I look forward to listening to his sermon on the Sabbath. Pastor Mark truly knows how to relate to his audience. May his tribe increase!

Jeremy - thanks for the links and also the great Biblical posts. The response to Belcher was quite enlightening, as when I first heard it - it sounded like it made some sense yet didn't feel right to me... you know? Also Pastor Mark Martin is quite good - I recently got some of his CDs. It will be fun to visit his church sometime when my husband & I visit AZ. Keep up the great posts, Jeremy, Dennis and everyone! :-)

I watched and listened to the worship service (live via Internet) at Calvary Community Church about two hours ago. It was indeed a wonderful, weekly Easter celebration! Pastor Mark's sermon on the Sabbath was excellent. Praise God, my identity is now in Christ, the true Sabbath rest.
