My darling, little 12 year old daughter (who is quick to remind me that she will be 13 soon!) just opened a can of worms tonight on the SDA teen forum www.realtimefaith. She was telling one of her SDA friends last week about the non-denominational Christian forum www.cbhministries and this friend told her to check out real time faith which she did.

She asked me for permission to sign up as a user when the opinion poll asked "Do you believe Ellen White was a true prophet of God?" As of tonight, she is the one and only vote for "NO". 3 have voted "undecided" and the rest (23 votes) are "yes".

I am praising God for the way He has protected her heart while we are living in SDA-ville. I warned her to be prepared for the ugly comments and attacks that are sure to come directly at her.

She told me that there is such a huge difference between the Real Time Faith forum and the CBH ministries forum. She said no one seems to talk about God, Jesus, grace and love on the SDA site but that on the CBH site everyone is happy and talks about Jesus and joy and peace all the time.

Do any of you have kids that get on this site? I wish there was some way other kids could help my daughter stand up for Jesus.

WOW! I had no idea that teenage forums even existed. I guess I'm completely out of it, being so old and all. I hope you tell you daughter that if she gets treeted on the SDA site like some on this site were treeted on Pastor O'Fils site that she can just stop going over to it. Yeah, those SDA's sure get into the heads of their children young, don't they? Even the youth don't have the joy or the peace that Jesus brings. That is so sad!

Hi Dd, Welcome home - can't wait to see you again soon!

I'll have to check these "kid" friendly (?) sites out - maybe my girls would enjoy chatting on them. Might make for some interesting discussions!

P.S. Do you have Easter plans? I'd be interested in joining you if you do.

love, lindylou

Dd, I posted on that forum last fall, as a guest, until they stopped that and deleted posts, etc. They even came up with a new "rule" because of me! I posted a few links to that forum on here awhile ago, including to a thread where they said that they love Satan, and everyone agreed with each other that they should!! Here's the link: http://www.nadadventist.org/ssbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=594

The forum is hosted on the official NAD web site.

Wow, Jeremy...thanks...I remember you posted this several weeks back but I did not realize what the forum was. I showed the link to my daughter. She said, "Gross!"

Where are the "adults"? I went to the "staff/writers" page. It listed those that are suppose to oversee the site. In all the bio information there was very, very little about love for Jesus! On her own, my daughter said, "I guess I won't go to this forum again." Her love for Jesus is so inspiring to me. She just was on the site this one time and saw the poll for EGW and felt compelled to post! If I knew how to link to the thread where she posted, I would, so you all could see how well she did. She did a marvelous job standing up for our Savior.

Forgive me for bragging! She is such a blessing and gift from God!

Dd,

Is this the thread? http://www.nadadventist.org/ssbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=732

BTW, I think the administrator of that forum is only about 17 years old or so himself.

As always, Jeremy...thank you for your kindness. I think my 12 year old could run circles around the 17 year old...of course, I am not very objective! :-)

Lindylou,
My daughter wants your daughters to get on the forum at www.cbhministries.com. She is "Hyper~Doodle12".

I checked out the SDA teenage forum. Is that forum and the Pastor O'Fills forum run or owned by the same folks? I only am wondering because they are setup exactly the same. Even some of the posters on both the sites have the same names and others sound the same as over on the Pastors site. To you with teenage kids I would greatly urge you to not let your children on that site. I read a lot very there and it comes off as in the least borderline satnic and possible all the way satantic. For instance there is an entire discussion on their love of satan. There is an entire topic about if it is necessary to be vegan at the time of Jesus's return. The subjects over there are just not normal subjets for young teenagers to be discussing, especially Christian teenagers. Most of what I read over there is wrong. Just plain, wrong.

Dd, your daughter is amazing! What a great post! (She's obviously had a great teacher--go ahead and feel proud, Mom!)
