One of our favorite radio commentators, a christian by the name of John Loeffler, always comments that if you want to find out what is really going on, follow the money. Have any of you folk out there studied how much money the White Estate brings into to General Conference on an annual basis? Is the reason for a new compilation each year because of the need for the generation of funds?
Where do the royalties go, how much are generated annually, and in what percentage of profits go to the church on compilations versus the old standards?

Goldenbear,
Those are interesting questions. I, too, would like to know the answers.

Goldenbear, You mention John Loeffler. Once in a while i catch his radio program "Steel on Steel", but what I notice is his emphasis on conspiracy theories. I mean he really didn't like Bush, and thinks he is a liberal. Any thoughts or comments? Stan

Goldenbear, one of the websites has EGW's will posted on it, but I can't remember off hand which one. Maybe Robert Sanders. Anyway, if I recall correctly, the majority of her estate went to her children, etc., with a comparatively small percentage to the church itself. I don't specifically remember about her book royalties. I wonder if it is different if they "remake" a book?? But I don't know if churches are required to release such income anywhere the public could get access to it given their "not for profit" status.
