It was this book that impelled me to study into the teachings of SDAism. It examines SDAism's claim to be the "only true heirs of the Reformation," and starkly shows that what SDAism actually teaches is just the opposite of what the reformers taught.

I started out to prove Paxton wrong, but I soon found out that he was right--that on every major point of the Reformation, SDAism stood on the side of the RCC and against the reformers.

This is not to prove the reformers right, but to show the arrogant claims of the SDA church have no basis in fact.

(However, on further study, I found that the reformed Gospel is the true Gospel, and what SDAism and RCism teaches is the "other gospel," mingling faith and works, that Paul speaks of in Galatians.)

Drpatti,

You are right on! That was the major influential book I read to get out of SDA, as it did a perfect job of comparing the false doctrines of Faith plus Works, that are present in SDA, as well as Catholicism.
