Hello, friends. I hope you have all been o.k. I have been on a tropical island for nearly a month now. Everything has been going quite well even considering the trials. Me and two of my four sons landed here on the morning of the 4th. The first day we had a rental car and on the second day be purchased a 1992 Chevy Blazer. The man who sold it tro us said, "Oh, I give you very good deal. Good car. No propblems." So, we bought it. Then we parked at a park for the night and my son lost the key. We had to spend mego money for a locksnith to come make new keys. Then we soon realized the car didn't start unless we used jumper cables ans anytime we drove on a busy street or a major highway or freeway it would conk out and we had to use the jumper cables. After about two weeks of this the car didn't run at all so we lived in a parking lot. Then we asked around about a mechanic who would fix the car on credit. A man named Tony came out and fixed the car as good as new. We are in dept to him but we'll make it right with him. I do believe it was an answer to prayer that Tony was referred to us. We have attended church every week that we have been here. It's a lovely church. The priest stands in front of a glass wall that has the ocean right behind it, only maybe 100 yards or so out. In fact, the glass is sliding doors so they are open and it is easy to not pay attention to what the pastor is saying because all through the service there are cruise ships, kyakers, canoes and suferes to watch during the service. Both my sons had four job interviews scheduled after a week of being here and they are each fulltime employed already. After they get two consectutive paychecks they can rent an apartment and they won't have to live in the car anymore. It's been an adventure! It's very hot here. I hope you have each been o.k.

Lord, I pray for your provision, protection, and presence to be with Susan and her family.

Carol, the entire service at your church was a blessing to me! First time in my search for a church that I have felt comfortable! What an awesome sermon on prayer. I know the sermon wasnt on tongues, but i think Ill be "babbling" in tongues before you know it! (no offense intended anyone, you know my background):-) Seriously, I do finally understand the limitations of the human language when in communion with God. No human words can express...thank God for the Holy Spirits intevention with our words and longings of the heart!

Ill be in touch re planning ahead next time!

It's good to catch up with my Internet friends. I will be leaving here next month to go home. When I get home I will purchase another Wevtv so I can read this forum daily. I have a lot to catch up on. Has a new Proclmation! come out?
