This morning as I was surfing the net I came across a website called Adventist for tomorrow. In one of the discussions, Tom Norris was writing that the SDA church has been misrepresenting EGW, that, according to my understanding of what he wrote, she did not believe the IJ or something to that effect. Does anyone know anything about this website??

It is early morning and I misquoted about EGW. She did believe the IJ. There is something about 1888 and something happened that year. I tried to cut and past some of what Norris wrote but, and it probably is because it is so early and I am half asleep, I could not.
Please check this site out and let me know what you think.

Yeah, I've been on the site for years. Tom is just being Tom---he's our resident conspiracy theorist. Basic take is that the White Estate and the G.C. conspired to twist EGW's writings around. According to him, she's been misrepresented and her writings twisted to allow the G.C. to keep control of the church. We've told him mnay times that he's crazy---but he keeps posting.

Be warned--it's a bit more rough and tumble over there than here. You might want to check out the 'Hubb meet Jodi' thread. It never ceases to amaze me the tapdances that TSDA's do to create a Sabbath day obligation....

Yes, I noticed he was strange. It made me decide not to go back to that site.
Thanks for the info.

Adventists for Tomorrow was a spin-off from the old forum on the Adventist Today website. When A Today shut down their forum a few years ago, many of the posters started the ATomorrow site. I'm sure it has new people and even a new tone since A Today, but I believe that's where it spawned.
