Two years ago the SDA minister of the church I attended challenged the Bible class I attended to read the New Testament. That started my road out of the SDA church. I am forever grateful to that man for presenting that challenge.
Our SS leader at that church reminded us that we like presents, so she asked us what we want to give God for His birthday. I am reminiscing now, because I am thinking about what I am giving my son and his family and I was reminded of Jesus and what I want to give him. He has all of me, heart, soul, mind, and strength so what more can I give him. He has done so much for me, so what I give Him in comparison is a pittance. So I will continue to let Him have all of me-heart, soul, mind and strength, to do with as He sees best.
So my question for you is, what are you giving God for Jesus birthday?
I am forever amazed how awesome God is.

Hi Diana,

I agree with you that my heart is already His, so what else can I give Him? Nothing.

When I say my heart is His - I mean that I am passionately devoted to Him. He owns me. All I can give is my joyful obedience. My trust.

Diana,

Give to those in need! That is all Jesus wants for Christmas. He doesn't want to see anyone hungry, hurting or sad on His birthday. Serve the homeless, take care of your own children, give to them, feed those physically and spiritually hungry.

Do whatever you can to help others, it will be for Him as a gift. I think He would like that.

Lynne
